Well, this is going to be a very unpopular post with my brothers and sisters.......

Listen, being naked is not a sin. These people live in a nudist colony, and they have a church there. I think it's great because they can also learn about the Lord and worship Him where they live........just like we do.

I"m not a nudist and I wouldn't feel comfortable going there and being naked, but they are comfortable with it. From what I understand about nudists, they are more comfortable without clothes, so they live separate from the rest of society. Why shouldn't they have a church too?

To them, being naked has nothing to do with sex, it's their way of life and they aren't hurting anyone, they are just being themselves.

So, I think the fact that they have a church there is great, I see nothing wrong with it. I hope some there become saved as a result as who better to witness to a nudist other then another nudist? It takes alot of different types of people to spread the word of God throughout the world, yes including nudists.

Always remember, it's not about how we view people, it's about how God views people. It's not about what we think is right and wrong, it's about what He thinks is right and wrong. God reads the heart of a man, while we see only the outside for a mere second.

I used to believe as you guys do, but God corrected my thinking on things like this about a year ago. Please seek Him on matters like this instead of our own very limited understanding.

Well OP I think you are right. I am not a Christian but I have studied your religion to some extent and have respect for it. The parallels of what is happening now with what was predicted in the bible are eerie to say the least.

Lisa, there is a lot of truth in what you have said, but I respectfully disagree. Yes, I'm a smoker as you said, but I don't go around and encourage others to do the same. I have COPD b/c of it - it is gradually killing me and I just haven't been able to quit know matter how hard I have tried. In fact, I try to convince people not to smoke and that it is highly addictive and will most likely lead to an early death.

Now, if God says that Homosexuality is a sin, should we not encourage people not to go down that road - or should we say its alright we are all sinners and just as long as you don't hurt others its okay? I'm sure there were those that lived in Sodom and Gomorrah that were preaching that same message, and look where it got them. Would you call that being self righteous or just preaching the Word of God? I would agree that it should be done in a loving way and with a truly caring heart as opposed to 'repent or you are going to burn in Hell' as some preach it. Nonetheless if God tells us its wrong then its wrong. By legalizing Gay/lesbian marriage we are as a society telling our children that it's acceptable and even moral. Do you believe that a young child could be heavily influenced when seeing this type of behavior in public and told that its alright and even normal? Or the fact that our schools are now teaching this type of behavior to elementary children as just another normal alternative lifestyle?

Lisa, if we as Christians don't stand on the Word of God and its teaching then who will? Yes god loves us, but does He want us to go on willfully sinning? I am trying so hard not to appear as self righteous cause I know I have no righteousness of my own to speak of and I am a struggling sinner - so please don't take this the wrong way, but what would Jesus do if He had the deciding vote? Would He pass this Bill or vote it down? I believe He would vote it down.

I don't think He would vote at all because He said "My Kingdom is not of this world".
