Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21525624 The lightning is part and parcel of living down Hea' in Louisan. About 15 yearn ago a big zap made the curtains and blinds flex from the windows. Next day I went out and there were 2 black spots on the grass. The thing had forked. I showed my wife... one for each of us. Sinkholes? Every now and then. Check them out all over the country while you are at it. You DoomSuckers need to really get a life of some kind. I don't quite feel sorry for you ultra-timid fucks. You're just begging for it.... And one day, you really WILL get what you dream about... and you will be ill equipped for what that will actually entail. Nice accent. Basically right. Poriwoggu |

Think maybe the water is disappearing because of underground levels a reducing, and not from the weather/heat? If there are cracks, water is heavier than gas, it would seep through the cracks and force the gas out of the cracks. Gas goes up, water goes down. I remember hearing of the possibility of the Gulf losing water because of cracks and caverns under the gulf floor (after the oil spill). |

Is Mother Earth getting ready to kick our a$$es for all the harm we have caused. What I find interesting is the people allegedly from the area that have come on this topic. The "locals" don't seemed to be worried and are even offensive that we are caring about the situation. I am not gloom & doom, I want to approach this realistically. This situation is huge and only we can keep it from being buried. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21633663 They've probably been through enough hurricane evacuations down there to be sick of any kind of evacuation by now. I've been in evacuations myself a few times. After the second one you start highly considering just weathering out the storm at home. |
