We live 40 minutes from the sinkhole. It dawned on me as I was looking at the latest picture that the sinkhole blends in with the swampy surroundings very well. How many more sinkholes might we have in south Louisiana that no one has noticed? There are so many swampy areas that don't have people living nearby and are inaccessible even by boat.
