The plot thickens, eh?

Well, my last comment WOULD NOT POST. It included the name of the company I hold suspect.

So, I reread it. Tried two more times. Nada.

Then, reading it again, I had to remove the name of the company in question, writing instead "a sulphur concern"...it posted immediately.

THEN I simply tried to post the name of the company...

Guess what? I got "oops, that page must be missing"

It won't even post when I put hyphens between the letters of the name, followed by Sulphur and Co.

It will not post here at all. If this posts, I will try to post the first name of the company in a separate thread, all by itself.

Someone is playing games with keywords.

IS THIS A SMOKING GUN? It certainly looks to be something that someone is trying to hide.

Why am I able to search its name on google, but, not here?

Re: HUGE Louisiana sinkhole!!!!
Since I have had a bit of a problem posting the name of the company, I am diverting my attention from the site I considered to be a precursor to the sinkhole, to post info about the sulphur concern...which, according to the Napoleanville site map, is well number 30973, right under Oxy Geismar #3: [link to gulfcoastrising.net]

Now, this sentence is directed to the the entity which has caused this website NOT to post that particular word:

If you didn't DO this, this matter would not have caught my attention, and, I would not be spending time snooping into this now. TPTB should start taking into consideration what all of our parents know: if you try to stop someone from doing something, this is EXACTLY what they will do. Conversely, by programming no-no words, red-flags go up.

Carrying on:

THIS IS THE WELL adjacent to the OXY GEISNER slurry area.
30973 Gus J Labarre EST

[link to sonlite.dnr.state.la.us]

The well is DRY & PLUGGED. Perforations in 1945; plugged and abandoned. NO PRODUCT TYPE SPECIFIED, but, contact info indicates it is most likely SULPHER. Although coded as "dry & plugged" since 1945, a number of "Fines-Civil Penalty Has Been Issued" are recorded from 2002, 2003, 2004.

The measured depth was 618. The Organization's name is listed as: "CANNOT-BE-NAMED Sulpher Co." divison of CANNOT-BE-NAMED-McMoran Resour as seen here: [link to sonlite.dnr.state.la.us]

A search of the company name leaves much to be desired; I only got a handful of hits, some from articles going back to 1930. I have NOT done a in-depth study yet.

Since I did not think to post the other name in the company's name, I hope this posts.

Re: HUGE Louisiana sinkhole!!!!
Thank you for the kind words.

Soooo, I was reading this FAQ: [link to assumptionla.com]

...which led me to copy and paste the longer bulleted section in the beginning.

-----
I was referencing what they were stating about each well, looking for truth, yet, finding inconsistencies, such as this one:

· 151646 Oxy Geismar No. 2: Brine mining well, roughly 634 feet from Oxy No. 3, Depth – approximately 6074 bgl; 370 feet wide at widest point, mechanical integrity testing through continuous monitoring of well pressures and quarterly reporting of results.

...noting that this was NOT COMPLETELY ACCURATE, ACCORDING TO THIS:
[link to sonlite.dnr.state.la.us]

...because, the record does not show "continuous monitoring" as some wells certainly do.

That was just ONE among many I looked at. Moving on.
========================

Since the next two on the list were abandoned sulphur sites of the NOT-TO-BE-NAMED Sulphur Co, what I read distresses me, because their statement is misleading:

The first is a bit futrher east of the OXY GEISNER slurry area:
"· 30948 Gus J Labarre Drilled by the [NOT-TO-BE-NAMED] Sulphur in search of sulphur and was plugged in October 10, 1945; 796 feet from Oxy No. 3; total depth of well was 665 feet (not a cavern – no diameter)."

THE SITE HAS HAD OPEN "Red Flags" FOR YEARS. If it was OK, what are the violations for? [link to sonlite.dnr.state.la.us]
===============================

The second well is directly next to the slurry:

30973 Gus J Labarre EST [link to sonlite.dnr.state.la.us]

· 30973 Gus J Labarre Est Drilled by stalking_is_a_crime Sulphur in search of sulphur and was plugged in October 1945; 310 feet from Oxy No. 3; total depth of well was 618 feet (not a cavern – no diameter)

The well is listed as DRY & PLUGGED. The record shows that it was plugged and abandoned after two drillings on the same day it was first drilled on October 19, 1945.

This site also has open red flags, seemingly the same.

WHO PURCHASES OR LEASES PROPERTiES, ONLY TO ABANDON THEM ON THE SECOND TRY? Something did not go well on at least one of those day, I would guess.

Something must have come up in 2002, for warnings and penalties to be issued.

No information since 1945 has been entered for either site, except for unnamed warnings and Civil Penalties from 2002, 2003, and - the ones from 2004 which remain open. The record does NOT specify what the well product it would have been, AND, the stated depth in the FAQ is different. Where they got that info is unknown, but, it is deeper than the depth you'll find here:

[link to sonlite.dnr.state.la.us]

=========================

But, I really am only musing with this post.

Unsatisfied by not being able to post the company name, after seeing the misrepresented FAQ, one of the few search hits I found led me to an EXCEL spreadsheet, listing just about all of the known well sites in a number of parrishes.

As I searched for this particular well, which I never found, my eye caught the ONE WELL MARKED: RADIOACTIVE.

In Napoleanville, no less.

Which brought my mind back to early reports of there being radioactivity, which was later noted to be "from farming products."

Of course, this finding sent me on a wild goose-chase, as I used that well number to find yet another "plugged and abandoned" well, this one gas, abandoned in 1949.

[link to sonlite.dnr.state.la.us]

As I looked on the Napoleanville site map, I could not find the well number, This was my wild goose chase, as I used the coordinates on its profile to pinpoint it, by comparing it to the coordinates of others, using the sinkhole site as my starting point.

Now, I may have discovered the ONE radioactive site in the area, but -thank the good lord- it appears to be to an area NE of those sites on the map.

So, I am happy to report that, at least, it appears that we do not have to worry about radioactivity...assuming that the coordinates were correct.

Why did I say ASSUMING?

Well, that profile also says this:
"UNABLE TO LOCATE WELL-NO PLUGGED AND ABANDONED"

In 1976 and 2004 it appears that owners revisited the site, yet, what is recorded seems incomplete. IS this when the site became radioactive? The profile does NOT record radioactivity.
[link to s184.photobucket.com]
-----------

Sorry for musing. I guess I will resume my research after I recover from today's, as there are other points on the FAQ list that need to be parsed.

If anyone has a specific area of interest that this thread has yet to cover, or, not covered enough, maybe it would be a good time to consider this.

I can not imagine WHY the sulphur thing seems to be taboo, or, if it's worth the time digging...well, perhaps to find out what the penalties are all about, or, why Louisiana officials seem to be disinterested in them.

And, at this point, I wonder if my 'across the road' theory is worth tackling, seeing as that site is about to be swallowed up any day now. Eventually, every old and newer well will be compromised, pipelines will be compromised. The question as to WHO is responsible is currently leaning on Texas Brine's shoulders. I suppose if it comes down to their being fined, that's when my theory will be inserted into the conversation.

Oh, my! I think this post seems more like a blog. So be it!

cool2

Hmmmm, I was expecting to snip some of the long info post, but it doesn't look like it is here to snip! Anyway, when I was searching a while back, I discovered that 2 caverns or domes had been used to test small nukes, the first one in 1954 I think it was, was a smaller nuke, and the 2nd one in 1960, which was a larger nuke, and a larger dome. Now I am wondering with you finding 2 wells/caverns, etc with no recordings on them, am wondering if somehow they are connected? I have no idea where I found that info, it was way in the beginning of the 200 page thread! Thanks for all your good sleuthing :)

Re: HUGE Louisiana sinkhole!!!!
Ok, I'm back after much more mine research and have come to the conclusion that's it is not just oil drilling and their dispersant to "clean it up" poisoning the shit out of everything.

I looked up what other things LA has for active mines, and then looked up the elements on the periodic table, which I am going to post, so you guys can add things up and hopefully get a further perspective on what they're drilling for. It adds in to a bigger, shinier picture, which I will do my best to illustrate because I just don't believe it's all about oil and gas causing the sinkholes and explosions.

The geological surveys, active mines list, and a geological census from 1997 show more than just gas, oil and salt in that region of the sinkhole. Also factor in the GOM is like the Grand Canyon and there are asphalt volcano's down there.

Furthermore, there's a mighty big country across the Pacific that doesn't like tungsten, and the morans have created an ungodly disaster for the planet drilling to the depths of hell in their quest for the race to space. :(

The most common use of barite is as a weighting agent in drilling muds. [link to geology.com]

Copper is one of the elements which has an alchemical symbol, shown below (alchemy is an ancient pursuit concerned with, for instance, the transformation of other metals into gold) [link to www.webelements.com] (note the group # on the periodic table, weird)

Lil' more on the last one [link to education.jlab.org]

Another element that adds up to 11 and its importance here [link to www.webelements.com]

Love the cartoon in this one [link to www.webelements.com]

What's in a name? From the German word Nickel, which means "Old Nick," a name for the devil. [link to education.jlab.org]

The active mines list [link to active-mines.findthedata.org]

A LA census document from 1997~ 212299 All Other Metal Ore Mining [link to www.census.gov]

Excellent topography of the GOM [link to www.globalresearch.ca]

This last piece for good measure [link to www.texasalmanac.com]

Then there's this piece from October 11 to help complete the big picture. Anyone remember Obama handing Brazil drilling rights and applauding them? Wonder if this is why the East Coast was hearing strange sounds and feeling vibrations up to Maine... "All over the world, the race for resources is forcing countries to spend more and drill deeper than they ever have before. Energy companies in the United States are using hydraulic fracturing to tap huge gas and oil reserves from Pennsylvania to Alaska. Argentina is preparing to explode rock to get unconventional oil and gas in Patagonia. Brazil has pioneered deep-water drilling techniques in the Atlantic.

These long-term, multibillion-dollar projects are creating technological feats and opportunities for new industries unseen since the U.S. space race." [link to www.wafb.com]

I sure hope the Oort Cloud is comfy...hi

Greetings morgan, and thank you :)

It was a lot of shifting back and forth trying to keep the information straight (good thing I have color tabs in firefox ;) I'm no geologist, but I know there's a lot more to the earth under our feet than dirt, water, rocks, oil and magma. Just trying to pinpoint what they're not telling us about because I know there's always more than what they want us to know.

Also, somewhere in my searching I believe I came across a piece about the wells and who controls what. Not sure if it in my post above, bookmarked or an open page...but if you need something related to what you're on feel free let me know hf

Guys, things just got a lot worse at the sinkhole down here.

This is less than 50% of the article:

Officials: Math doesn’t work; end to evacuation is unclear

The math isn’t adding up in Assumption Parish, and some parish officials are worried about what might be happening underground near a Bayou Corne area sinkhole.

State Department of Natural Resources scientists said they think a subterranean Texas Brine Co. salt cavern failed, allowing earth to partially fill the 2,250-foot-long vault and ultimately cause the sinkhole to form about 200 feet to the northwest of the cavern’s top.

Parish officials say the volume of the brine-filled sinkhole is much smaller than the amount of displaced earth now in the cavern, prompting worries about other unknown subterranean voids or gaps left in the area by the shifted sediments that could lead to further disturbance at the surface.

Boudreaux and Waguespack said it is their worry that the possible voids or gaps underground left by the 2.7 million cubic yards of earth that shifted could lead to sinkholes appearing in other locations.

Read it all here:

Yikes! Is right!

I wanted to thank you for your very informative posts EM..
You've done a lot of work to get this info to GLP and share with us. I've been following this thread from the beginning and have learned a lot.. probably more than I wanted to learn in some cases.

It's important to be aware of what is happening, and you have sure made it easier for us to become aware.

THANK YOU

:heart rock:

If you can use a dome to test a nuke, maybe one can use a dome to store a nuke.
