Unfortunately that was cut off from thousands of Jewish families in 70 AD. It was so bad that a Roman soldier described rivers of blood flowing down the streets.. Quoting: APOLLO ILLUMINIST But whats wrong with wanting real leadership here and now? The New World of the United States has vastly accomplished peace and security for its citizens and its poor. We have the clothing and food and shelter that God has promised us, do we not? Of course lawlessness is on the increase and law must be restored to its rightful capacity.. Weve had it so good that weve become lenient in many matters of crime amongst our citizens. No you don't. My bro in law lives there has to have three jobs, one for the insurance for his family encase they ever need a doctor dentist or have an accident, one is part time teaching which is what he wants to do, and one is to pay the bills. Sounds like slavery to me. Your country only looks after the well off who are capable of looking after themselves. The poor mad ill are thrown in the gutter, I like a lot of your posts but that comment there was not well thought out. |

To the people who think otherwise and believe in re-carnation. What would be the implication of somebody claiming to be God and millions dying in their name the time when they are re-incarnated? |

You can't have it both ways folks. No cake and eat it too! If he is perfect in every way then so be it, but don't say his punishment will put you in eternal misery. The whole point is to show US what our temptation would be like. God was never even goofily tempted by the "devil" Such a circumstance is impossible. The "devil" evens know this. Interesting thoughts though. Judged already coming in this place...how silly to think..Jesus just might have..lol. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14914603 Some people who don't see Jesus and God as the same being may ask Can God be tempted or can Jesus be. Passages in the bible suggest God can never be tempted, but Jesus is possible. How foolish would it be for the Devil to give God what he has control over already? Or to ask the person who has the power over their existance to worship them? sound like desparate roleplaying |

The poor mad ill are thrown in the gutter, I like a lot of your posts but that comment there was not well thought out. I do admit we need health reform for the middle class. Much of the problem was the sky high prices of our new homes and people taking on more than they can handle. The poorest do get health coverage from the State , so its mainly a middle class struggle. Many middle class dont want socialist medicine cause they are afraid they wont get to choose their doctor. Our CEO pay is also unregulated, Taking home 30 million plus a year to run a company is not unheard of. Its quite the norm. As they say , its the American dream. You have uncapped potential here to be rich beyond your wildest dreams. There was a shampoo salemans living out of his car and hes now a multi millionaire today, I cant recall his name. But people like the singer Jimmy Dean and sausage company is a success story as well. The land of opportunity was there in the 70s and 80s. Its more difficult now as Corporations have gotten so big. |

Why would you ask a damn fool question? Lucifer is God's creation. Jesus is God's SON!!! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1461274 No! This is a great question! Jesus was tempted. He had to be to complete his full experience as human. He had to know what we face as we face it. That's the whole point of the 40 days in the desert! It marked His acceptance of the Will of the Father and the beginning of his ministry. Jesus WAS tempted but he said Yes to His Father and "yes" to Him, that we are worth saving! Think about that! |
