The smell of burnt toast can indicate a stroke. I experienced that with my stroke and learned it's common.

Oh god, I can imagine the false doomsayers posting "I just smelled roses, and then so and so will happen in so much time" now.

I got this very strong smell of flower or perfume, couldn't figure it out. It was only in my room and no other rooms, I checked outside too and there wasn't any smell there, checked near the window too, not there too. The situation remained like that for almost an hour.

But I prayed to angels for goodness.

This is really weird as I have been smelling what i think smells of cherry flavoured Tunes. But I get it every where. I was with someone the other day ,& could smell it like someone was breathing it on me. the other person couldn't smell it & asked if it was wood I could smell??
Can smell it most times at night in my bed sheets. but not smell it there in the day. Checked washing powder & all sorts

For me it's a very weird smell that no one else picks up. I have a bad sense of smell so I believe mine might be different. It often prompts me to try to remember something important. The memory never comes but the need to remember is a distractingly urgent push.

It's a very sweet, almost sickening smell. It smells nothing like any flower or anything else that I can think of.

Fridays 3 o'clock is when i smell it, usually once a month.

It's been happening for over twenty years.

I've smelled flowers often for no reason. Always attributed it to loving overwatch of guardian angels, or feminine relatives who have gone before.

It has always been a pleasant experience.

I smelt roses when my grandmother was hospitalised (before I knew She had been!). When I was told later that day that she'd suffered a sroke and had been rushed in, I 'knew' she would die, and sadly, she did. This was years ago.

I smell flowers also when there are none around. First happened when I went into hospital for some surgery. I smelled roses really strongly when I was waiting to book in. Then afterwards, when I was back on the wards post-op, I smelled it again, really really strongly and this time my mother who was visiting smelled it too.

Yesterday I smelled it in the corridors of our counselling room area at work. I could smell roses and daphne. A few hours later saw a client who was so unwell and suicidal that I had to call an ambulance. Wondering if there was a connection there?

Never have I been afraid of the flower smell. It has always been very comforting.

No, I don't smell flowers but I do smell that chilidog fart I cut a minute ago....

Interesting this post got bumped back up. I've been smelling floral powder lately and nobody wears anything like what I'm smelling. Another day I was in the living room and smelled honeysuckles. And about an hour ago I caught a whiff of roses while I was in my room.

Since I was a child from time to time I have smelled roses but it has always been a sign that angels, spirit guides, the Blessed Mother or St. Teresa are around to give me strength or guidance. Smelling the fragrance of flowers is a good message potentially from someone that reminded you of flowers when they were alive. Fragrance of flowers does not meaning lurking danger...only if you want to believe it so. What you think about...you bring to your self. It is just a divine hello and that we are accompanied on our spiritual journey.
