What are they building Las Vegas/Calif border??? FEMA CAMP???

There are big casinos there on the Nevada side, correct?

Is this on the California side?

It is located when driving from Cali to Vegas on the last turn before you descend the (previously) abandoned Mountain ....maybe someone was selling "Alien Jerky". Once you start the descent....there's a golf course and another suspious building that could be connected under ground to the first location before the descent on the Mountain.

It's just another solar plant that will shut down when subsidies end.

Its called a Solar Plant. This is so the city can save energy and run off the Sun. Its a genius idea and I heard if you stand in the path of it you will be incinerated

i think a FEMA camp might actually be a step up from living in las vegas

Next to the solar plant they will put the FEMA camp with the power generating crematoriums which will generate electricity at night when there is peak Vegas demand and there are not sufficient other alternative sources.

For this purpose the obnoxious-obese will be sought out above all others for the FEMA camps. This will do a lot to improve the image of Las Vegas too, to transform these types into a positive form of energy, for a change.

Children's truancy center

I stopped off near the Ivanpah "Solar Power Facility" on my way home from Vegas yesterday. I was stopped by Marine Corp military police not far from the freeway who told me I had to turn around because marines from Yermo were conducting exercises in the area. When I asked about the towers at the facility, I was told that they were there to attempt to transform the desert into viable soil for farmland. After telling him I had read about Ivanpah online, he backpedaled and said that the towers were in fact part part of a solar power operation. Why the inconsistency? Protected by the Marine Corp? Seems suspicious to say the least.

Wow! That's pretty scary. I just drove by the plant today and saw the huge three towers just heading into Vegas. I think the FEMA CAMP is the other new construction before coming over that final turn down the mountain. It's a little ways off the freeway and looks like it could hold numerous people!

Who knows exactly what that building is???

I have wondered about that place the last couple times I was out in Vegas. It is creepy looking. The giant 3 towers do not look like any solar station I've seen before. When I drive by I really take a good look and I can not figure out what it is. My instincts immediately go off as something sinister. Can't explain it better than that.

I'm still worried about the plant before you hit the three towers - just what exactly is it?

It is off "Bailey Road in Mt. Pass, Needles, Ca ....right off the Fwy. I'll see if I can find co-ordinates on google earth now.....

Just drove past this place yesterday and also saw what looked like piles of dirt about 1/2 mile long.

Maybe an underground bunker there. It is all visiable from the Fwy. These are massive buildings and there seems to be a rush to finish them. Looks like there is over 100 car's parked on the site.

Ivanpah is a solar thermal plant, so does quite well delivering power over night. The towers are filled with salt, that is melted by the sun (after being bounced and concentrated off reflectors) and stored. Heat is extracted when power is needed, creates steam and off you go.

Also pretty sure cremation uses more energy than it creates, but this is GLP so mayhaps I should leave logic out of it

but while we're on the subject, normally with a single body over a flame, yes it takes more energy to reduce a human body to ash than the body produces.

this is because the body is mostly water and most of the energy is consumed in the initial process of evaporating away the water.

however when effecient energy extracted from steam methods and a continious 24 hour conveyer feed of corpses, then the bodies will in fact produce a net surplus of energy, in fact quite a lot from what I understand, almost like candle wax.

That is what this British death camp/power plant technology is based on.

I hope I managed to clear this up, and keep the industry shining in a good light.
