Yeah, more or less. That's what I was getting at, just superimpose the gif image in line with the Earth. The golden mean spiral is the pattern of the energy flow through the center, hence the huge cyclones on both the North and South Pole.

What does that all mean to us? No idea. I would guess it means that the energy is either "activated" or that the energy is flowing at a much greater rate than "normal."

I'm no scientist, however.

Something is not right. especially with the north arctic cyclone. I agree it is supposed to be rather calm up there this time of year. Watch out. It could be a bad winter this year. Things have not warmed up there so much this year.

Weather is acting "differently" the past few days. Snow in Africa. And the floods brought about by the monsoon rains in our country. First time we had that rain that lasted that long and that wasn't even a storm/typhoon, really weird weather lately.

the thing to do now is look at projections, find what the scientists who care are really saying, and anticipate. this bayou thing is not going to go in a good way, and may in fact be why troups have been moving to the coasts, as rumor has it. I thought it was strange on Anchorage news tonight they were talking about the big storm in the North Pole. I've been in Alaska a long time now and that's the first I've ever seen them even mention the North Pole.

If you want to get technical that would be everyday except for the very first day

Thanks. And I really hope it doesn't get to "the day after tomorrow" stage. I don't think it will but to have 2 massive cyclones at each pole is kinda weird and should be monitored. I mean with the weather already being so whacked out, why not the poles! lol...
