Well speaking as a woman, I find this act from law enforcement, unconscionable! What have we come to, when a person's dignity, privacy and rights against unreasonable search and seizure are completely ignored. Also...I think it's important to point out that forcibly removing a tampon that is not ready for removal can actually be quite painful, especially if it's done harshly. I sure hope the tampon was ready to be removed. Even going slowly, it can still hurt if it's a clean one. But regardless...I can only imagine this woman's embarrassment and anger/fear at being treated so inhumanely and especially in public for god's sake!! I hope these so-called officers get taught a harsh lesson in how NOT to treat the public!

To the officer on this thread. Thank you for taking a public stance against this disgraceful treatment of this women. We need more police officers like yourself out there patrolling our streets. God bless you!
