And those there now once worked for goldman or some of the other big investment or commercial banks. they make the rules so they don't need to break them.

A month or so ago Hubbys work gave him the paperwork to join in on the company 401K. He gave it to me to look over..... Goldman Sachs is the company I have heard of them so ok....I started by going to the website listed on the paperwork because they gave him nothing more then the form. I am not picking how much goes into which stocks without seeing how the stocks perform first Hello!!! ...After typing the exact URL, I landed on a page that did not exist anymore...WTF .. I looked at the form harder and noticed it was 2007!!! Now I am getting pissed 2007 and now are two completely different worlds!! I try to track down the performance by the names listed on our form, I keep landing in areas where I have to click that I am NOT an individual...getting more pissed... Then I just start googling Goldman Sachs and the stock names. I come across several results talking about how they are being investigated.. analysts questioning how well they can handle 401Ks when they messed up the big stuff as bad as they did. Pissed is now boiled over, top is blown.

His company says he MUST sign this form even if he does not contribute. WE ARE NOT SIGNING A FORM FROM 2007!!

and we are NOT allowing a company with this type of track record to handle our money I don't care if its only $50 bucks they are not touching it.

I tell hubby this is a COMPLETE INSULT!! and to tell his HR lady he is not signing any forms from 2007 nor will he allow Goldman to touch our money.. He does.. HR lady gets pissed tells him they are a very good company and he still needs to sign...he still refuses to sign.. then starts going off about the outdated form..the investigations ... next thing he knows a co-worker who just turned in her form grabs it off HR desk and rips it up!! LMAO!! That was a month ago still has not signed anything and we still do not have a 401K but I would rather not have one then have Goldman!

All started when City merged with Travelers and became citi group, and that cleared the path to prosper on Wall Street disregarding the glass-stegal, so they let them get away with investment banking with people's money in the derivatives market, and then clinton implmented dodd frank which just got rid of that funny-duddy rule that they put in place to please the people. USA has always been about Wall Street and will always be about Wall Street.
