seriously, there should be no trial, no jail for something like this. they should just walk him out to a field after giving the 93 year old man a rifle and have gramps dispatch him as quickly or slowly as he pleases. If gramps doesn't want to - he should be allowed to select from volunteers for the job.
For this type of heinous crime to be committed on helpless elderly people is intolerable. This will ruin what short time they had left, and cause an earlier death for them. It puts all of the children and grandchildren through pain. For crimes like this people need to stop this charade of civility and following lawful procedures. It needs to result in an immediate death sentence.

I read this and unfortunately it is almost word for word the same thing that happened to an elderly couple in Tulsa this past Spring. Except in that case, the elderly woman died from her injuries and her husband, after a couple months simply gave up and passed as well while still recovering from the injuries he sustained.

Animals like this don't deserve anything more than being put down without mercy.
