Im sure they will try to prevent and delay it. I think this the their #1 concern right now, but they are running out of options VERY fast.

All they do is infuse money into faltering economies. They aren't really do anything in any nation to viably create real jobs. The ship is sinking so fast. And if food prices skyrocket and jobless numbers continue to rise, we could have an inflationary depression on our hands. Something we really do not want to see!!!!!

The central banks know that they have lost the battle. They MAY be able to hold things together until the election but if so then all hell is going to break loose after that.

Massive inflation in everything you need.Deflation in things you do not.We are and have been in a depression for four years.

The central bankers fix.Print to devalue currency and inflate prices.

Exactly. Well said. It will be necessities that are going to go through the roof. And it is these things we buy everyday. Even with other things possibly in deflation, it won't matter because it will just cause bankruptcies. People will not have the money, being jobless (or part time crap work) to buy anything else but what they need. It is a very scary cycle.

Cmon guys, this has to be some cause for concern? I want to get a take on what people are thinking. Do you think we will head into a depression or inflationary depression? GAS, FOOD, etc all through the roof, while jobs continue to die?

Not sure, pondering for years, but I think we'll see nationalization (BamBam is already going down this road), price controls, higher taxes, etc. more businesses going out of business, more countries leaving for overseas. Higher prices but not necessarily hyperinflation, more job losses, just getting squeezed a lot more.

If hyperinflation is allowed, and I do say allowed, our cities will go up in flames. You will see it coming. When you do, for those that don't have the funds to prepare, get what yeah can, while you can.
That's all you can do.

Can they even prevent necessities from inflating though? The demand for these alone is rising like crazy.

Good post. You are right, they are out of tricks and all they have left is to create more money out of thin air. Things are going to get much, much worse. Sadly most people are still in denial and those who are currently safe and live in a socio-econimic cocoon, shielding them from what is actually going on, are prone to vehemently denying what is going on out there because they are not personally affected at this point.

But............ a big wreck is coming. There is no doubt about it, it is just a matter of how fast it is going to play out.
