This is a money saver, it cuts down on other flights and can spy on the whole city at once. I guess this was a test flight.

The Pentagon has successfully gotten its football field-size super-spy blimp up in the air and congrats, America — you’re in luck! The US Army has completed a test run of its Long-Endurance Multi-Intelligence Vehicle right here in the United States.
Video footage has surfaced of what is believed to be the first domestic test flight of the Pentagon’s Long-Endurance Multi-Intelligence Vehicle, or LEMV, a space-age surveillance craft that can conduct spy missions high in the sky.
The military did not announce to the public ahead of time that it would be conducting test missions of the surveillance craft, which caused confusion for many civilians who saw the LEMV stay afloat for over an hour....

The craft, believed to run the military as much as $517 million apiece “if all options are exercised” and can soar in the sky at heights of 20,000 feet for as long as three weeks. The LEMV is 370-feet in length and its manufacturer, Northrop Grumman, says it can be powered either by in-air pilots or by remote control. It can transport seven tons of cargo from Pittsburg to Los Angeles at 30 miles-per-hour and can spy on entire cities from a single spot in the sky.

I am a little concerned this has been posted already, but it isn't pinned.

I saw a low flying "quiet" plane that was ominous about 8 months ago and I shared that with a friend because I thought he might know something about it. He said "your going to be seeing a lot of the militarys toys."

A lot of help he was but this reminded me of his comment.

I want to know exactly what kinds of threats are warranting this kind of spy activity. Are we sending these overseas? I haven't really thought about martial law as a reality.

If you could help me out here, a blimp is spying on a city, what exactly is it looking for? Fast cars moving in with bombs? People on the rooftops with sniper guns? What are they expecting? Are we really that threatened? Or are we not that threatened but if we suddenly realize it is martial law can we escape with all the security being put in place?

What is the threat they are looking for? Is there a threat that can be seen with blimps? What do you think is going on?

Or is there a disaster predicted that the government is aware of but not telling us?

I guess that sometimes a blimp is just a blimp.

Unless it's flying over your house and spying on you 24 fucking hours a day.

Does anyone really think they're going to be flying this thing where somebody will be able to take a shot at it?

No

They're going to use this stupid piece of crap right here. To spy on YOU.

Here is DoorBerts thread, it's informative, he is some kind of professional news person. First to post, doesn't always follow through visiting much.

I am a fan of the Ebola post he did but he must post so much he can't follow.

Is this a DoorBert dig? Well maybe, he sometimes has 3 pins running at once. He is fast on the news, nothing wrong with that. Pin hogger lol.

Good info

This has no "War Tim" use. Every Country we would fight has Rockets to shoot it down.

This was made specifically to Command & Control USA. They will fly it above Rifle Range altitude

I am not in "the know" crowd but it seems like massive spying on US citizens and that means we must have a new government that we didn't vote in.

I stole this from another blimp thread. It only had the video in it.

And here you have it, I have consolidated the threads on the blimp.

This is the bestest one because my bestest friends Brief and Snake Airlines are doing the jokes. Gotta have jokes. :)

Thread: VIDEO: Army's New Spy Blimp Flies over New Jersey

Clearly no one gives a shit about this topic. Atsok cause it is the same old thing about how the US is setting up cameras and radiation monitors and watching closely, we have the most attentive government.

What we need are fake body heat signature stuff so when they fly over they get confused and think she is sleeping on the kitchen sink. Just to help them with the monotony of watching.
