Ohio won't go for Ryan, and too many other voters will be scared away from him. Plus, Obama only needs to turn 23 more electoral votes his way given the way all the other states are leaning right now. Florida will be hard to turn with a highly conservative running mate. His only two choices that will bring him a sufficient amount of moderate or undecided voters are McDonnell or Portman. Of the two of them, Portman is the safer and more vanilla of the choices. |

Now this would bring it front and center. Quoting: Super Bowl Dave Christie is the best choice -- a maverick with roots in a blue state. christie is fat, simple fact is fat people cant be president, can u name one country with a fat president? |

He is announcing it on the USS Wisconsin even... Well, I'll say this though. It is the wrong choice if he wants to win this election. He didn't stand much chance to begin with, but this will lose it for him. Florida will go Obama because the elderly will be worried about social security and medicare. Ryan's gives Romney an edge in Wisconsin and will force Obama to spend money there, but he loses Ohio in exchange. Liberals will be more motivated to the polls with Ryan on the ticket too, and his budgets he introduced before were wildly unpopular with moderates... First the force Ron Paul out, now they pair Romney with Ryan? The republican party just WANTS to lose this race. |
