No offense, but "It is you who needs to get a clue!" you are leaving out the fact that our US Military has access to the biggest arsenal of weapons the world has ever seen. I spent twelve and half years training military personnel in weapons that you have no idea how devastating they truly are. This will not be a wep Vs wep man to man conflict if it were then of course you would be correct in your assessment, but you are wrong on so many levels this will be wep Vs M119, Vs M68 vs this little sweetheart [link to youtu.be] . When you bring your rifle and or shotgun to bare down on a XM25 Vs 25-M chain gun plz tell me how it turns out for you. Of course the weapons are devastating. If there is a target. This war, if it happens, won't be force on force. No one will be trying to defend a static position or engage a superior unit.

You are either deliberately trying to spread fear and disinformation or you are ignorant of 4th and 5th generation warfare.

Your last sentence leads me to think you are merely ignorant. No one is going to storm a heavily defended castle. That would be suicide.

Well when your delusions of the awesome power of the u.s. military in COIN warfare wears off there sparky, you might want to rethink your post.

The u.s. army is organized for second and third generation war. They are designed to fight conventional forces of another nation state.

It might be to difficult for you to conceive but that's not the case here with our theoritical discussion.

The army doesn't do well with COIN warfare. As has been adequately demonstrated the last several years.


Of course the Apache is an awesome weapon and fear inspiring and all that. Does the u.s. army have an unlimited supply? Can they cover all three million square miles?
