Most US military and ex-military I know or know of declare you would find it diificult to find the troops ready to open fire upon American citizens.

Now UN troops ..that's another scenario.

Better weapons don't mean shit. Just look at Iraq and Afghanistan we have much better weapons and better trained fighters, but were still fighting them more then 10 years later.

No it won't be Amrican troops ..it will be UN troops.

You forgot the soldiers that are going to join because they are permanently unemployed and perhaps starving... Service in exchange for something to do and something to eat.

UN troops will be a lot easier to kill.

Not as well trained, inferior weapons, and no American will have any moral qualms at all about shooting a foreigner.

The root problem is that people still want to join the military, police forces or some other kind of government agency.

Teach your children from an early age on that it is a bad idea to join those organizations, and you prevent them pointing a gun to your temple later in life, brainwashed and in the name of the government they're working for.

Stop feeding the government your children, and government collapses naturally and on its own, as it should be.

Sure, as long as there is someone willing to pick up a gun, there will be resistance. However that is nothing more than a nuisance - the land is occupied and all the relevant parts are under control. As would the whole area if it was deemed necessary. Some Japanese were resisting the Americans all the way to the 50's. Some parts of occupied eastern Europe did the same against the SU. But you wouldn't say that WW2 was still going on would you?

I have to agree. They don't just give a gamer a weapon and say 'go shoot something'. Your also forgetting about the trillions of dollars that have been stolen from you. Where has that gone? Some you see, most of it you don't and I would bet they wouldnt play a hand without the odds being in their favour. I can only imagine the tech they hide from the public. Worst comes to worst, with that money you could live on the moon for a 100+ years, all stocked up for the selected elite whilst we get shut down and fight eachother, probably not for the first time, who knows.

We really think we can see things playing out? even if we think we're ahead we are most probably misleading ourselves. Not to sound negative, we can't just lol everything off.

When confronted with panicked mobs of potentially infected people attempting to escape a containment/quarantine zone, they'll have no problems opening fire, when ordered.

And when all else fails, they'll pull back and air support will take it from there... Containment, then; Decontamination protocols.

I keep seeing these threads about civil war. That is exactly what America's enemies want, divide and conquer. If they can get us to fight each other, they will step in once we have practically killed each other off, it won't be as difficult then to physically take over the country.
