What you forgot to mention is that most of the "mercans" who will actually engage are former military themselves. Veterans from the various wars number in several million I would think.

They have had ALL that training plus they know their terrain and their communities and their small arms are in many cases better.

You don't want to "group" up. That would make a high value target for superior firepower. All an insurgency has to do is stay alive. Eventually the unwinnable conflict will become to expensive for mordor to continue.

A leaderless insurgency is far harder for governments to fight. Look at Afghanistan, they want peace talks but there is no one to talk to.

In any case organizing will evolve. As well as all the rest.

Training is important but will and resolve is more important.

And then people like Bedford Forest will emerge. He had no military training whatsoever and was one of the best generals of the war of Northern aggression.

funny this thread got unpinned for some reason.. anywho think it is worth mentioning what i think will go down if it really comes to this. and this is not to say it will utimately go their way... i think they will fall back and unleash bios on us and try to control shit that way. but i do think there are a lot of varibles that will not be so tidy for them. for example, solders that dont want to kill innocent americans for one. if they pull this trigger they they may get some surprises...i do like the idea of these dirty bugger satanists getting a mudhole stomped in their asses by trained force that possibly wakes up to their fking bs. and there wont be enought blackwaters if that happens... remember "foreign and domestic"

Not true at all. Shoot at them with a gun and run away. They have dead or wounded and no one to shoot. Rig a grenade as a booby trap and you are not even there.

Set the missile to launch remotely or put a timer on the firing system.

That happened to my unit in Afghanistan. They launched a 107mm rocket on our position with a crude delayed ignition system and when we got to the launch site there was no one to shoot.
