Try taking 10,000 IU of Vitamin D3 a day for several months which is basically no different than correcting vitamin D deficiency anyway since that is the standard treatment for correcting deficiency but the protocol for treatment is very outdated unfortunately.

I believe that severe vitamin D deficiency is the root cause for asthma in the first place... Remember Sun Scare bullshit?

the artificial boost in CFL manufacturing has severally damaged the LED bulb market, which is considerably more efficient and safe than the CFL.

The government's meddling is hurting a more efficient product. Go figure.

Depends what you're looking for. LED bulbs have considerably more variety than the others, both in shape, base and wattage.

I was just going to say something similar.

If anyone doubts it, there is a government website that explains the whole convoluted procedure. If any of you doubters break one of those things, get your children out of the house immediately.

Funny how the liberals care more for the outside environment than they do for the inside environment of people's homes.

I refuse to use them, mainly because obama, et al. is trying to force me to do so. I keep buying normal light bulbs to have for the day when they the edict comes down against them. Hopefully that won't happen due to obama being kicked to the curb.

Good. That will help invigorate the light bulb industry. I'm sure most people know you can make light bulbs that never burn out, but if you do that, the light bulb manufacturers won't make nearly as much money as they can with light bulbs that are designed to burn out after a set number of hours.

Good!! the best lights are LED anyways. Last 10x as long and reduce energy even more than Flourescent bulbs.

This morning on the news the USDA wasted 69 million dollars and Romeny/Ryan are trying to figure out how to cut spending on welfare and medicare.

Why don't they just clean up GSA and USDA and every other govt. office and put the money back in Social Security and Medicare where it was supposed to be in the first friggin place?

They act like we are to stupid to realize every govt. office is wasting money, but the citizens who paid into Social Security and Medicaid are supposed to take cut backs.
