SERIOUS QUESTION: Who here has purchased a gun primarily to defend against government tyranny?
I'm not asking those that got a gun for hunting, or sport, but just those who got one (or several) to defend from gov't tyranny.

anyone?

I have and I've never owned guns before. Bought quite a bit too. If you don't you'll regret it like nothing you've ever regretted before

That's a question no one should answer on a public forum.

How is that worse than the registration that's already required?

Lifelong libtard here. Never was against guns, but never owned them.

Now I own a pistol and a shotgun.

I don't think I need them now, but I think I need the ability and comfort later.

Dig?

Idk if that would do much. If you do kill someone from the gov, dont you think they would keep sending people to track you down and kill you?
I am not a anonymous coward.

Re: SERIOUS QUESTION: Who here has purchased a gun primarily to defend against government tyranny?
I don't have them anymore, because I left America.

BUT,

I had a 7.62X39 specifically for the purpose, and to supplement the cheap junker, had a top notch Mauser .270 which I could hit clay pigeons at over 400 yards with consistency. That's pretty nasty.

Supplementally, because of the history of world war 2, for the specific purpose of fighting tyranny as well, I had a .380 handgun.

For survival I had a .22 and a shotgun.

but as a Canadian, I can proudly say that any legally registered assault rifles i may or may not own, were purchased in preparation for the next time the US government tries to impose its tyranny upon us, through invasion.
