Socal here, never have ants in my house ever, today come home and the kitchen floor across the carpet to the wall is the most ants I have ever seen. Is this a sign that we have one coming? It was also scorching hot today.

yeah, we never have have ants in the house.....noticed a few a day or two bfor our two 4.5's, now today a huge amount.....gotta wonder about these next few days

Yeah I had read that too, I figured I would post as a heads up and hopefully get some feedback....Was at a friends house today also in Cypress and it was almost 100 degrees in the shade, and over 100 in the direct sun.

That is the same here. I have never seen an ant inside my house but tonight I swept the kitchen and living room floors and there were a few ants!!!
I live in the Pacific Northwest U.S. coast by Bellingham.

I have the same problem but here in washington by Canada, it is only 70 degree ferinheight and beautiful and plenty of green grass and water flowing everywhere.
The ants weren't hot or thirsty in my opinion.

this post rattled me. No joke. I just clicked on this post because I had ants tonight and was curious to see that someone posted about ants and now, being on the west coast and having earthquake predictions and warnings, it is freaking me out, too.

I did not find an ant trail, just one here and one therelooking arround, found about 7 of them. Never have had them in my house in over 2 yrs since I moved in here.
