I don't see a road or anything that closely resembles a road. Looks like a Martian desert to me.

You're all a bunch of sad nerds. Go tell your friend(s) (maybe) about your findings and get laughed back into your pathetic doom caves.

Before the mission was even announced you idiots disclaimed it. Just because you're too stupid to understand the actual capabilities of the space program doesnt mean its inconcievable.

Calling me a shill only further proves how ignorant you all are.

Just go and put your head in your ass.. That is your choice.. and you leave people on this forum in peace to have an open mind..

You have problem with that?

What would you like?? CNN on GLP?

Why are you guys so keen to say NASA missions are fake? There's no purpose to fake a NASA mission right now. We're not in a space race with anyone, so there's no one to intimidate. Even if so, why does NASA gain from the public by faking Mars missions? You people.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14068473

Our tax money....But no! They would never do that!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19204579

i know right, 2 billion dollars doesn't seem to be a good enough purpose to fake it? we're being had bigtime by these pointless BS missions.

I always wondered why they would blow so much money to go drive around in craters over and over again, now it makes sense. NASA is probably making leaps and bounds behind the scenes, and we're being shown lies and garbage over and over again. Don't think for one second NASA hasn't been spending BILLIONS on mercury plasma antigravity technology and who knows what else by now. We the public will never be told how things really go, until we see through the lies and demand the truth.

This looks nothing like any desert here on Earth, though it is similar.

I seriously don't see a road in that pic.

Isn't it funny that they brought up the fact that the surface looks like earth. I figure they put it out there to discredit anyone making the claim.

Also, the last part of the article talks about the other two rovers. Why wouldn't they try to find them? Since they know where the one is stuck in a "sand trap", should be easy to locate, yes? Unless, they don't have permission to go on the golf course, lol!

I really would love to believe NASA and our Government. But sadly, they've failed to earn it from past cover ups & blatant lies.

Mars On Earth? Researchers Find Mars-Like Conditions In A South American Desert

ScienceDaily (Jan. 14, 2004) — A team of scientists from LSU, NASA, the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and other research organizations has discovered an area of Earth that is shockingly similar to the surface of Mars.

This joint research effort has discovered clues from one of Earth's driest deserts about the limits of life on this planet, and why past missions to Mars may have failed to detect life. The results of the group's study were published this week in Science magazine, in an article titled "Mars-like Soils in the Atacama Desert, Chile, and the Dry Limit of Microbial Life."

Re: NASA Mars rover image - why am I looking at a road?
if there were a road/path on mars, I'd say that looks like one, yes.
 Quoting: Slick Vick

It looks identical to how a road would like in any desert on earth with the light reflecting off the smoother, well worn surface, does it not?
 Quoting: Charlie Frost

Which one?

I see at least four white S-curves in the photo linked. Roughly equally-spaced, across the visible width.

Thanks to everyone who posted more information on here today about the fake Mars landing. I'll include it in today's blog entry. Mars is red because it's got lots of iron in the soil and combined with moisture you get that red rust look. Thus red dust storms and red look from here on Mother Earth.

Unless the pic is from 300 miles away, that doesn`t look like a 16000 ft tall mt. either.

What are you using to determine this?

Aerial perspective (on another planet with a different atmosphere?)

Perhaps camera lens (on a mosaic built up from multiple pictures from a camera you have not studied the optics of?)
