You can see the lunar buggy motoring around on the moon. It hard leaves tracks because it is throwing the powdery mix right back in the groove causing it to fill it's tracks. When you watch the video you can barely see the previous tracks.

The foot print does not cover its on track with fine dust. You can see the buggy's tracks from the hubble telescope.

It's just the perspective. The shot doesn't include the area behind the front wheel. The lunar terrain is all from under the rover. Show a wide angle shot with the whole rover.

If there are so many shots of the trackless rover this should be easy.

Update 1:Actually - on looking at the photo - it looks like it was cropped from a larger photo. I'm going to call this an edited photo until someone comes up with a NASA original.

Update 2:Counted actual lines of resolution - there are about 160. NASA cameras had 320 lines of resolution so this the 1/4 of the original photo. I'm calling fake on this.
