Correction :
Using a photo purported by NASA to be from the moon,
to prove that they had never been there.

Part of the deception is playing off of ego, going right back to Kennedy's speech, of planting the innocent lie, that we went to the moon, which I always found to be a disingenuous way of saying things which reeks of political indoctrination.

This way you make the recipient of the deception responsible for the myth, and resistant to think of looking behind the curtain of what we have been served up to expect to believe.
