So what has been dumped in the 13,000 abandoned wells throughout the state? Are they empty and just been capped?

in one of these replies on one of the multiple threads, there was a link to an article that had the number of wells in this salt dome. Does anyone who caught it happen to remember the number ?

I was just wondering how many more are potentially filled with radioactive waste and abandoned.

The 1-mile-by-3-mile Napoleonville Salt Dome below the expanding sinkhole is a large salt deposit pushed up from an ancient seabed below the earth's crust, now housing 51 oil and gas-related facilities.

So what do you think will happen when this sinkhole gets a foot or two of rainwater flowing into it?

Salt melts when water penetrates it. Cavern can collapse when salt is melted away.

16sec to 45 sec video fly over that look the be weeks old....on a event that has been going on with full DHS involvement for months...maybe even 1 year!

yes it is, even the main site says they put pictures up of the flyover, no video today, but the link goes to hundreds of pictures and I can't find the ones they say they put up today.

So even the videos are stopping. It has gotten so big and taking over that pad that is by it.

They are going to stop releasing any information about it soon.

Can you give us some insight as to what will happen on the EQ side of this story when it goes boom ?

There were links listed in earlier posts showing fault convergence in this area, looks like it would light everything up all the way to the great lakes.

OEP continues to urge residents, those that have evacuated and those that remain home, to check their homes for any changes such as cracks, ground holes, sinking, etc. Anything unusual or out of the ordinary should be reported to OEP immediately. All reports will be forwarded to DNR for proper investigation.


Sounds like they need all residents involved in this investigation if they want to catch something before it becomes too dangerous.

I pray it does not effect the New Madrid fault.

Could this possibly be their goal? It has been discussed here on GLP a few times, the fact that many think TPTB are trying to set off the New Madrid.
