Never!!!! GOD SAID we are NOT to pray repetitive prayers!! Instead, we are to go into our prayer closets seeking The Lords Face and praying ftom our heart!

pleasing to God. "Vain repetition" means insincere prayer, all for show.

The Rosary has 3 main prayers repeated. You pray them
as you meditate on Our Lord and His mother's life with Him.

Consider the prayers spoken of in Revelation 4:8 offered day and night without ceasing: "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!" Another repetitious prayer pleasing to God is contained in Psalm 136: "For his steadfast love endures for ever." This phrase is repeated over twenty-five times. Finally, Matthew 26:44 tells us that Jesus himself prayed the same prayer three times in the garden in Gethsemane.

The "our father" could be considered a repetitive prayer, yet we're told to pray it in the Bible. A line of worship...Holy! Holy! Holy! is said by angels before the throne of God without end. Do the angels themselves not know what is proper prayer and worship before God?

Yes, informal heart to heart prayer is one way of praying, but not the only way.
