"Re: Quitting Weed
dude... please dont make it a big deal. im a heavy smoker.. like 8ball a day kinda heavy. and the past 3 weeks ive had nothing. fuck all.. i thought it would be hard... but its not.

you might not sleep too well the first few days but thats about it. its all in the mind. weed is NOT addictive. its the comfort and warmth it gives you that you are attatched to.

btw im not giving up its just dry as fuck here atm. but anyway. have a break and you will aprecciate it so much more."

quote-function doesn't work today!

Thank you! and you're right, the thought of the warmth when lighting a spliff...., but I need to deal with that.

Thank you again and good luck!hf

Here's the thing.

If you smoked nearly everyday, you may find that, after you quit for a bit, you paid a price

you are brainwashed,if your mind is right you dont even have cravings

You missed the point.
Which means you may have a problem.

i never missed anything, the reality is........... beating drug addiction is not based on will power, sure you get some alcoholics/addicts that go years clean but they are unhappy and live with terrible cravings, its called being dry,the other way is better and the key is free of charge!

The only physical withdrawal symptom you'll have is probably insomnia. MJ doesn't make you physically addicted.

I am going to chime in, cos I quit today and I need you all to make my succes durable

I smoked 20 years+, 22 to be exact, and only had one stop of 7 months 5 years ago.

I am not looking forward to tonight!
feel the sweats already...

I still have one blunt...., and it's staring at me...

I grew up in 'Bob Marley' time, and when I was in the army I started to smoke to his tunes, and also Alpha Blondy, thought if 'fit me', but it doesn't I guess..

I need to quit and face things..., and this is gonna be my thread to do so.

THE RIGHT SIDE WON:)

Face things? What things??? This world is not made for humans!!!

So you'd better light that bitch on and pull it to the bottom of your soul and nothing else would matter!!! My offer is fair enough and you know that damn well!

Debunk this you worthless cock sucking bitch!!! You peace of shit!!! I own your soul and you know you can not save yourself from me!!!

You are mine!!!

I despise the smell of your body when you were baby, I jerk off to any single sip of milk you took from your mother's tit!

You are mine and your mother can suck our cocks together... just tell me is that what you wish!

Good luck to you and your efforts. When I guit I had some discomforts but nothing major. My appetite went south for a while, a little nervous, agian nothing major. Quitting Smoking Gigarettes was much worse. Nicotine is much worse than weed. If you need to quit do so and good luck again, I be pulling for you guys.

After I quit I finally got my shit together with my music.

The writing flowed like water and so did the notes.

Took me to the Capital Tower on Vine.

whenever you get a craving sit and meditate, the same sort of high can be achieved from finding inner peace(without youre head becoming a cabbage).its not craving its attachment like youre wife or car, dont listen to all the hype about stopping is difficult its bollocks, its not.but there are times in life when a dooby is the best thing for inner reflection(usually by yourself in nature).and of course as a social herb it cannot be beaten.

Re: Quitting Weed
I quit weed some 7 years ago (damn I'm showing my age), I remember it being easy and didn't bother me one bit, since then i have prob smoked 5 - 7 joints in total and always enjoy them but I've never found weed to be addictive despite smoking it every day before i quit for 15 years.

Re: Quitting Weed
bad advice coming from those who say its not addictive or 'couple of nights and your good to go', etc

its different for different people based on your health state, mineral deficiencies, adrenal health, etc.

look on any weed quitting forum and you can find people who suffered for an extended time. But it does pass.

Personally I found it much harder than quitting cigarettes.

I no longer crave weed and the idea of being stoned is even a repellent sensation at this point.
