Why does no one ever focus on prevention rather than cures? No charity, no studies, no businesses.
Instead RACE FOR THE CURE! you'd think someone at some point might mention "Hey, let's try to figure out why cancer rates have gone up 300% in the last 30-40 years. Maybe we can prevent cancer. Or diabetes. Or heart disease. Or parkinson's. Or Alzheimer's.
It's damn likely that diet and environment are the cause of most diseases, but there's no money in prevention so therefore there will never be any official studies and anyone who suggests a breakthough will be ridiculed and marginalized. There already is a likely cure for cancer, but it will never be mainstream because of the money involved.

It's been proven that chemotherapy causes cancer way more often than it helps. Even mammograms cause cancer more often than it helps finding it. It's sickening.
