Re: Sitting under the bodhi tree
PS. There's nothing you need to achieve, you've already got it all.
 Quoting: Eternium

The search for a higher self is an illusion. There is no higher self or no lower self, there is just the self. To think that you need to connect with a higher self is only giving validity that a lower self exists.

Don't use the ego to fight the ego. The ego is a mirage. A concept and it'll never accomplish anything. Just like an "inch" won't build a house. It's just an inch and it can't do anything.
 Quoting: Eternium

I have studied with what I think are the best of the best, the top of the top and the cream of the crop. This doesn't interest me.

I don't want you to think any way actually, I'm not here trying to be serious. Like I said, I come here like a musician, not as a preacher. If you like my music great, if not, look for a different genre. Namaste.

Re: Sitting under the bodhi tree
What we call everyday experience, everyday consciousness, is divine consciousness. The moment you start practicing anything to achieve anything, you're getting in your own way.

Instead realize there is nothing to realize. Like the sages say, awakening cannot be forced, it's something that happens spontaneously. Trust life. That's why religions also say have faith.

Our true nature, that which happens of itself. You work your thyroid gland in the same way you shine the sun. Voluntary and involuntary are the same thing. You are IT. Moksha.

Re: Sitting under the bodhi tree
Siddhartha Gautama - the Buddha - sat under the Bodhi Tree for 7 weeks then gave the first teaching of his '4 Noble Truths' which became the basis of Buddhism. Although Buddhism is non-theistic, this is clearly a BIG example of the GOD=7_4 algorithm/code; see [link to GOD704.wikia.com] .
