The entire civil rights battle, as MLK so eloquently pointed out, was based on character over color. Unfortunately for the country, that doesn't jibe with the progressive left's "divide and conquer" strategy. In typical progressive fashion, Obama was elected on what he was and what he represented to them, instead of who he was as a person. Obama the person, is shallow, arrogant, unqualified, mean-spirited and has really accomplished nothing in his life except for his own self-promotion and self-aggrandizement. That's "who" he is, not exactly the qualities one would seek out for POTUS. But for some, it will never matter. They will never see past the "what".
