Really, Disneyland is a SHOW, the whole thing is a show, right down to the garbage cleanup people who are dressed up to fit in whereever they are stationed. No Muslim areas featuring burkas, thus she would not have fit in. If you are an actor, you have to wear the costume.

I'm sure at Disney parks they don't want employees wearing large CROSSES, or yarmulkes either.

If a Christian demands her rights to go the Church during office hours, would you call that - unproductive superstitious practices? If a Christian demands special places for worshipping (in the case where there's no nearby Church to be found), would you allow it? If a Christian does not participate in your so-called social life that you offer with your parties and picnics, would you call that - insulting other people's belief and life practises?

If you're a non-Muslim living in Turkey, you should be ashamed of yourself. Turkey is an Islamic country, albeit a secular one at that. Get out of Turkey if you don't like the Muslim's lifestyle. prior to working there I am sure they told her what she could wear and not wear. Did she show up to the interview wearing her headgear? if not then she is misrepresenting herself and should be grounds for firing. If she did show up wearing it and they said nothing in the interview then possibly she has a right. But like in my state, it is an "at will state" basically meaning the employer can fire you for whatever they want.

As I read these several posts, it is clear that Muslims have a bad name for themselves across this thread. Firstly, I must say that it is her right, just like anyone's to sue any company if they believe it violates their religious belief. In this case, she clearly feels that her religious views have been violated, as Muslims women because they do not wish other men to be gazing at their physical attraction but to be looking at the person they are from the inside.

Secondly, why can't this women wear a headscarf? She isnt harming anybody by wearing it. The reason in which she can't wear it, is because to the stereotypical view in which, Muslims are terrorist. This stereotype is based on the current affairs which is going on in Afghanistan, which involves men who claim to be Muslims, destroying and causing chaos within that region. I say " who claim to be Muslims" because, Islam doesn't say anything about killing innocent people in the name of "Allah". In fact, this religion is similar to Christianity or Judaism, which encourages us to help out people those who are in great need.

Lastly I may say that, nuns wear headscarfs for the same reasons in which Islamic or Judaism women wear headscarfs.

I personally feel that she has the legal right to challenge this business as it seems to me that, her religious view have been violated. And we should stand aside on this matter as, if she is declined by the judge, then she's declined and if the judge agrees by her side then it's right. We shouldn't intervene in other peoples business.

I have many friends, some of which are Muslims and Christians. I've personally noticed that these two religions are very similar to each other when many of my both friends of each religion interact. Also, they have both joined together to help those unfortunate Around the world by giving aid to countries and I find it very heart warming. It just shows what can happen if all the religions united together and fulfilled their religious actions which can help others. Thanks
