The transhumanist agenda is nothing new. A bit freaky to see it all laid out in animation though. What I find ironic is that they believe that progressing through an organic/mechanical android state is necessary in order to evolve into a more advanced biological being - in the end being mostly organic yet supported by nano-particles and computers.

I think its far more likely that by studying the genome and dna in particular we would be able to unlock human cognitive potential (think esp and telekenisis) and still maintain our electro-chemical nature which supposedly supports our soul. Although it is an interesting existential argument around whether or not a soul could exist outside of the human form as it is now.
