It was on another forum site. She stated the owner was asked and he had every opportunity to decline. He did it for the publicity even though he is a staunch Republican. Obama bought 12 tickets for beers and took two and told the girl to give the other 10 to the next 10 people in line. He gave no preference. Fox news lies again. Here is the link to the interview. [link to www.reddit.com] Her quote from the link: "All I'm saying is it was stressful for him but he wanted to do it for the publicity- once in a lifetime thing. He knew it would cost him to shut down." Quoting: Major_Payne There is a HUGE difference in a waitress and the actual business owner. The owner is who is quoted in the OP. I am sure a waitress does not have the same concerns as the owner as she doesn't have to make payroll and pay the bills. But I do understand that this is something that liberals just cannot grasp at all, including Obama. You are such a dumb bitch. Wow will you be bitching in November when your Mormon loses...ha ha. You shit head. Romney has a Swiss bank account and you have a double-wide. The American Dream! Vote for You Dummy! |

Should be on the first page of every newspaper. Quoting: Scoobius Except this time it wasn't tax money he wasted, it was money taken right out this guy's pocket. I have a feeling he won't be voting for Obama. This guy is probably feeling like "Joe the plumber" about now. The owner of the stand is a long time Republican. He was asked if it was OK to have the President stop for a Photo Op. He was told how long it would take and what the procedures were. He agreed because he wanted the publicity. He is bitching now because he is a Republican and that's what they do. Agreed...and you know when these idiots quote Fox that it isn't true. That won't stop them. False or not, doesn't matter to these few degenerates. Obama wins this election easily..Then 8 years of Hillary. I love it. Romney has a Swiss bank account and you have a double-wide. The American Dream! Vote for You Dummy! |

There's no mention of it in the Fox article, the Fox video, or the original Des Moines Register article. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16609398 ![]() Anybody? This video. He said it in jest. Ah, cool. Yeah, obviously a joke. I can't even see anyone holding a Romney sign in that video anyway. What kind of boring bastard takes a political sign to a fair? |

And he bought 10 beers for others but not a guy with a Romney sign. Way to try and win that guys vote Barry Potter! Quoting: Munsoned [link to nation.foxnews.com] On the other hand, the small business owner side of Cunningham fumes that the president “put a damper on what I’m trying to do here.” His Bud Tent was shut down at the most lucrative time of day, with a popular rock cover band, Hairball, about to perform at the Susan B. Knapp Amphitheater next door with legions of thirsty fans. (...) Cunningham said that the more accurate figure for what he likely lost in sales Monday night is $25,000. He appreciated that fellow fair vendor Barksdale allowed him to set up a Bud beer station near the amphitheater stage and recoup some dollars from those Hairball fans. 25,000 in sales in one night of beer, can this guy really sell 50,000 or more beers in a night from a tent? |

Glad it worked out for him but I think thats just being adventorous. He may be looking for a confrontation. What would stop a an obese glp tard from walking up to him to spewing glp pinned talking points? |
