There is a HUGE difference in a waitress and the actual business owner. The owner is who is quoted in the OP. I am sure a waitress does not have the same concerns as the owner as she doesn't have to make payroll and pay the bills.

But I do understand that this is something that liberals just cannot grasp at all, including Obama.

The owner of the stand is a long time Republican. He was asked if it was OK to have the President stop for a Photo Op. He was told how long it would take and what the procedures were. He agreed because he wanted the publicity. He is bitching now because he is a Republican and that's what they do.

Where did you get the detail about not buying a beer for the Romney supporter? There's no mention of it in the Fox article, the Fox video, or the original Des Moines Register article.
