Bombarded with monarch butterflies! Help!

No idea other than a net but be nice to them as Monsatan is killing them off with its crappy BT corn.

I tried talking the one in the house down, but no luck. It is about 16 feet up and I know it will die there if it doesn't come down. Tried leaving door open, but others just trying to get in.

2 story entry, 19 feet high, thats where it is hanging out.

I put some fresh flowers below it to entice it, but not working. Do you suppose it wants to just die now?

You've to dark'n all windows & doors except to one.
So when morning sunrises, & about 1 to 2 hours after rise, they will leave!

They are afraid to migrate back to Mexico for the winter.

Any milkweed around you?

Domestic roses and lilac bushes.
Purple whirlwind plant, sweet potato vine, trailing jenny, geraniums.
In surrounding areas, brome grass, purple loosestrife, wild rhubarb, weeds.


Why don't they like Mexico? These are different monarch butterflies than I normally see: browner, darker.

Naw, I think the cell phone tower that now hovers over our house took care of that.

Hey, I got one out of two in the house. Told it to sit still and I would put it outside and it did. Hope my fingers didn't ruin it.

The really high one is a goner I am afraid.

Where do you live? The monarchs are preparing to fly to their wintering grounds in Mexico...they do this every year. They usually start this in August...millions and millions fly to Point Pelee Ontario every year and meet up with their gang.

There on the move honey. Don't panic its only a butterfly. Don't hurt it. They have a very short lifespan. Everythings dieing right now in the world. We shouldn't kill anything except pedophiles. There not human their animals anyways.

It is 16 feet up and won't come down. Sorry.

I am in the far north, and they do not appear to be going anywhere but clamoring to get in my house.

I had a yard full of thousands of Monarchs a few years ago. They all flew in together & left together en masse. They were only in my yard, not a single one was in a neighboring yard. I considered it a blessing to see their beauty and it sounds like you get the honored blessing this year.

You need to get up and Move. The butterfly symbolizes dance and movement. You are stuck and not moving either physically or mentally.

At least they are not dead. A dead butterfly has a worse meaning.


Here is a little more on the butterfly and it's meaning.
