Its better than nothing and its a good start imo, most people give up at the first step, to make money online you have to want to make money online. You have to see it working for you in your mind, that is the mindset you need for it to work, you have to act to feel motivated. You can lay there in your bed at night thinking right when I wakeup I'm gonna push myself hard tomorrow but are you going to act on that thought? Or will you just lay there in bed cursing the idea of having to get out of bed, again to feel the motivation you need to act :)

If you´re really in need and can´t find any work, the best option is to set up a website and just tell honestly what your situation is and what you need money for. People could well send you money to help you out. Offer to do work for them online, though.

One way you could make money on your own is by finding older stuff and selling it on e-bay. There may well be older people holding on to stuff from the Communist era. You could tell them they could get money for it: you take it on consignment, put it up for sale and then give them the money, keeping a commission for yourself. I have seen demand for stuff like this.

Since you speak English, you could provide information about your area to tourists or foreign businesses. You could do so for specific businesses, like hotels, restaurants, car rentals or you could set up a general website.
