thats funny, i just downloaded all of ss adm. noaa,and dhs's solicitation's and was about to forward copies to my congressman so he could investigate.good job,united we stand divided we fall.I suggest everyone that reads this do the same, for this is are first line of defence.I emailed him yesterday and told him that I was not in favor of Israel giving the us deadlines for going to war with Iran as only propaganda ,without any proof.and if it went to the floor i would hope he would vote it down.

These purchases have largely to do with the fact that our wars are winding down, and we wish to maintain production, while at the same time making it harder for folks to purchase ammunition on the open market. Supply and demand X gov. spending.

I want DHS (NOAA too) to be as well armed as possible, do you know what kind of nut-cases be lurking? 750m rounds doesn't seem like too many to me, plus the 450m .40 cal hollow points. That's enough for one or two large engagements, barley enough.

maybe they are buying up the stock piles of ammo so when tshtf ammo will be limited

Congressman Gowdy awnsered my question on 750 million rounds of 40 cal pistol ammo they ordered. He said dhs has 154 thousand employees, That includes all ICE, DEA, US marshalls, FBI DHS and others over 100 different agencies, He said they have to qualify and shoot hundreds of rounds every year. He said Normally each office orders its rounds individually but now that they are all under the guise of DHS they make one purchace order for all agencies to save monies! Dont know if it is true or not.

However 750 million rounds of 223 is a whole different story. He is going to get back to me in a week or two!

The ammo we have been purchasing for our " wars" was coming from Israel.

the figure is close to 1.5 billion. mostly hollow points and at least some of the 223 is match grade. You don't practice with that type of ammo. I frequently shoot with local and county LEO's. I've seen federal police and DHS at the range. None of them practice with hollow points or match grade ammo. During cease fires we get together and talk guns and I see exactly what they're shooting.....

Ask why each of the 154000 DHS employees need nearly 5000 rounds for "training". If nothing else its a huge waste of money. Worst case, its meant for those who don't comply.

You have to be pretty dense if you have to ask what these are going to be used for. Not only are they being bought with taxpayer money, I'd bet if one looked into it, you'd find that the ammo companies themselves are linked back to the very ones that are getting ready to ban ammo or have such massive restrictions that no citizen can buy them.

hollow points are made for one purpose only, to kill..the HP bullet fragments into smaller peices to cause the most internal damage and the peices cannot be easily removed, unlike a solid bullet.

.223 ammo is a rifle round, it can pierce just about anything that is not armored. The smaller "22" caliber flies farther and flatter than a bigger caliber, it's a good round for long range aswell as penetrating soft targets.


These are just more of the "in your face" tactics that the sheep will refuse to see. It's like a ramp to the slaughterhouse that you see and know it's there, but refuse to acknowledge what is about to happen.


IMO, your efforts to speak with a Congressman about this is a waste of time, it's a good idea and I'm sure that you have good intentions, but do you really think it will make a difference? "They" have been allowed to do as they please for years and this is the result, get used to it because there's not a damn thing you or I can do about it now. We've allowed this to happen, we ourselves are responcible for the corner we've backed ourselves into.

Keep trying to wake up your Congressman if you wish, you'll get about the same results as if you went and asked a tree.
