Not really prepping much, but my dad has a cistern and a basement full of canned/dry goods for the inevitable collapse of trade due to the routes physically being DESTROYED.

John Moore is a liar. Now he might be a government dis-info agent doing a Boy Who Cried Wolf number to lull the sheep so they won't panic when the REAL "doom" comes, but the plain fact is: he is a proven liar.

He said on his 8/13 radio show that Ft. Lee in Virginia was apparently being abandoned, and it turns out that only two UNITS were moved (about 1500 people, and there are about 50,000 peoople there). Plus, granted, quite a lot of military equipment.

There's a lot more, too, on GLP about all the garbage he's been spouting, but I suggest you check out the current John Moore threads if you are not already aware. The man is just despicable, IMO.

Let's take this a little farther on the scary side. Mississippi River is so low that salt water has started backing up into the river. Now you have a sinkhole in LA that is right next to a butane underground storage mine. The mine blows up (which they claim could result in a blast 250 times stronger than Hiroshima, and that could open the river even larger, resulting in the gulf going further up river. Now the Saint Louis tower ( if in fact it is a huge tuning fork ) rings out, and creates an earthquake, and it is as big as the one that caused the Mississippi to run backwords for days, than you will have an image similar to that one map that shows the country split in 2 pieces. Damn, River DOOM!

Federal officials estimate a 7.7 magnitude quake will only cause 300 billion in damages. I think your scenario exceeds the estimate. And I think their estimate is full of crap.

If their estimates are crap, then that means the 300billion Is crap. It will probably exeed that.

They are prepping for something---C-5A Starlifters have been flying into central Illinois Air Guard base when they haven't made an appearance in the 10 years I have lived here.

About 2 or 3 mornings ago, we saw a military plane fly over our home (SW Missouri). Normally don't see them although we are in a flight path to our airport. I didn't report it although I thought about it, now, seeing your post is the time to report. Don't know if it's a big deal or little deal but never seen one fly over before. Hubby even came in and said that's a military plane---he's not a doomer.
