That's what i find stinky here. All the talk this week about no-fly zone, Hillary drinking tea with Erdo, sure something smells for me.poop

Something is gong on. Like I say I can;t see it being a no fly zone as such, but giving the FSA Patriot missiles or something is pretty plausible.

Can't see them trusting FSA with Patriot. Stupid fucks will kill themselves with those, they just learned using stingers last year in Libya. But we agree, something deffo is on.

Re: Sy
Watching a report since 20 mins on France24, still on.

They are with the Rebels , lots of propaganda, what I want to know. Why are the faces of some of them blurred out?

Just now a guy taking the mobile from one the suspected Shabiha (dressed in regular clothes, saying they were just out to find cigarrettes), the guys face was covered in scarf and blurred, his hand was white as he held the phone and read the names of last calls, his arabic was with a foreign accent.

Weird.

Now this air strike looks fishy. They said it was a hospital set up by FSA which they bombed. Something isn't quite right about this story.

I do see that point, but Russia have also vetoed resolutions that don't directly call for military action on the grounds that they could be interpreted to imply it. I personally don't subscribe to the view that a no fly zone (as long as it doesn't suffer "mission creep" like in Libya, but I think Sarkosy had a lot to do with that) would be warmongering.

Definitely - he said people asking for diplomacy and restraint are the bad guys, and the one's sending rockets and promoting violence are the good guys! Or something like that.

Watch this to see exactly what he said.

[link to www.youtube.com]

Wonder how much longer he'll watch, will he do something? CAN he do something to stop this madness? I guess not, it would just make the conflict more bloody if another party gets involved, whether good or bad. Nobody wins in Military Conflicts. There has to be another way to stop this though.

They vetoing mate coz they last time they said "yes" we all saw what happened didn't we? It's clear for them (Russia,China) that they can't trust the west, Libya intervention was supposed to be for the "good" of the people too, don't be naive here we all know what is gonna happen if they pull the UN vote through, the script doesn't change much, it's the same BS all over again.

The problem is that some of these resolutions had a lot of space for interpretations, especially the last one which actually mentioned military intervention as last resort should all else fail. So I kind of see where they are coming from to not make the same mistake again as in Libya. Putin has said this numerous times, so he's keeping his stance for now.

I wonder how this can be stopped. For starters, why are western countries like UK and US giving the "rebels" money? Why are they allowing more heavy weapons being given to them? I mean what are the special forces of US and UK exactly doing at the Jordanian border? I know...so how can they be stopped? If they ran out of weapons to fight with, you'd stop the bloodshed for once...then they could just go round up those terrorists and end of story.

Guess that's my wishful thinking...

They didn't actually say yes to Libya, they abstained. Again, I do see the point, but what else is there to do at this point? Assad (and indeed the FSA) have both pretty much ignored the supposedly negotiated cease fires. Letting them kill each other is fine in theory, but as we've seen with various incidents it has the potential to spread to the whole region if it's not ended.

They know they're being encircled, it's a real pickle they're in. If they don't react soon, they'll be surrounded and then "check mate". I guess question is not if, but when will Russia come out strong and blow the lid off this strategic chess game. I said it before, Syria and Iran are just the stepping stone.....it's really about Russia and China I think.

Yup - agreed. However I don't see Russia doing anything and playing into the hands of NATO as coming off as the Aggressors. Remember, most people are still sheep and will root for USA and NATO against Russia any time. I'm still waiting for the FF and escalation and Russia would get involved when shtf big time but just to protect itself, and maybe do some clean up of NATO's mercenaries as they've done in Chechnya.

Father forgive them for they do not know what they have done.

And to add, of course if they'd pull this they would throw Iran into the same bucket with Hezbollah and Israel would pound Hezbollah with help from NATO and attacking Iran at the same time. Full blown war! That's what they want it seems. And that's the way they'd draw in Russia and China eventually. Just thinking out loud. Hope they won't by that psychotic to do that.
