Secondly, its a computer model, whatever is set for the variables in that application will only consider that. It does not account for other unknown mechanics at work.

Tcyhe != Nibiru. At all. Tyche is a hypothetical planet at Oort cloud distances. It has nothing to do with any object of any kind having a 3600 year orbit, nor does it have anything to do with an object approaching the inner solar system. I have said countless times that a brown dwarf could potentially exist at oort cloud distances.

Oh, and here's what else it says:

"Q: If Tyche does exist, why would it have taken so long to find another planet in our solar system?

A: Tyche would be too cold and faint for a visible light telescope to identify. Sensitive infrared telescopes could pick up the glow from such an object, if they looked in the right direction."

Again, you seem to know with absolute certainty something that NASA admits it does not know. Looks like NASA needs to start leaving the job of space exploration to amateur astronomers ;-)at

Why does our Earth revolve around sun in a 365 day cycle every time?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7916217

Actually it's 365.25 days, and even that's not the exact number.
why does our moon revolve around Earth, which turns over day and night, around our sun year after year, and yet we only see one side?
 Quoting: AC

Tidal lock. Most moons in the solar system are tidally locked to their parent planet. It's an inevitable consequence of gravity.
 Quoting: Dr. Astro

Ok, had todo a quick wiki on that to know what it was. AHA! see, celestial bodies DO evolve in unison(just as animal do with Earth!). If a phenomenon as significant as a tidal lock is possible, why not the "Nemesis" theory?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7916217

I'm sorry but that's a giant non-sequitur. That makes no sense whatsoever.
 Quoting: Dr. Astro

Ok, I am confused. How are you not understanding what I am saying? I will say again.(or maybe you are losing track of conversation with me, seeing as you have many going at once, this is not un plausible)

Tidal locking is a known phenomenon, and it acts in a PRECISE PATTERN, if such a significant pattern happens rite here, why should an equally significant pattern else where be ruled out so quickly just because it would need to be so precise?

I wonder if these simulations account for the distance the sun and earth travel through space each year....some 4.7 billion miles.

Because of this we are orbiting the sun through space is a helix pattern and not an elliptical orbit...never in the same 'space' twice.

Because the theory is specific as to its location in the solar system, ie, oort cloud distances.

Irrelevant, the theory is specific as to its distance.
If it does exist, you have absolutely no clue where this object was located 3600 years ago.

Nice demonstration.

Who's to say the Anunnaki have or have not the technology that manipulates gravity.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20003334

well, let's see. we appear to have two options here:

1. nibiru is a giant brown dwarf in our solar system inhabited by magic men technologically capable of altering the fabric of reality so as to negate the gravitational effects of their planet/star on neighboring bodies

2. you're a fucking idiot

tough choice

Astro, just out of curiosity, would much change from the analysis if, for example, the orbit of a brown dwarf were longer, say 10,500 years? Or would the basics remain the same?

scratching
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1558527

Where does that number come from? It would be basically the same, just slower.
 Quoting: Dr. Astro

Basically the same, yet slower. Okay, I agree with you. Once it left, would that give our solar system enough time to re-stabalize, so to speak, and as it got closer again, it would start to slowly cause disruptions?

Dr. Astro. Hello . I have a question for you. Has NASA updated the distances between planets lately?
 Quoting: clapon

Occasionally NASA will re-analyze the astrometric data to squeeze a little more accuracy out of the orbital determinations for the sake of a mission to a planet to try to hit it with their probe as accurately as possible, but most of this involves careful calibration of very old astrometric data from the pre-digital era, though when a probe arrives they can get even better accuracy using telemetry than can be achieved by optical means. They don't specifically update the "distances" per se.

You are certainly obsessed with this little brown dwarf that doesn't exist...hmmmm.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21272147

Yeah, for a purely "hypothetical" object that is supposedly most bullshit... I don't understand why Astromut spends hundreds of hours debunking this. That can not be denied, anyone who is on GLP regularly knows about his obessesion with commenting on nearly every "nibiru" thread that arises. Chances are, if there is in fact something there that is relatively close, it would be an object that we either very little or no understanding of. Perhaps some fringe gov. agency would know about something like that, but I doubt Astromut would be privileged to that information. I am not saying Nibiru exists or doesn't, but I do believe that Astromut has a particular infatuation with it.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10513178

So what? Perhaps he is doing a public service by providing information that when rationalised makes perfect sense?

Thousands of 'holy' men do the same thing every day, just like people who believe in an inbound object. They have a story of their version of events, don't they?

He's not dicking with anyone, he's offering an opinion based on what he knows and asking YOU to consider that opinion. Besides maybe he's proud of his hobby/work and is in a position to advise people how things work as collectively understood by mankind?

Shame on Nibiru believers for dissing his efforts to inform people - even if it ends in him being totally wrong?

FFS, shooting the messenger never solved the problem.
