No lamb was mentioned

why didnt he say this flesh is my flesh..this blood is my blood?

why did he say this bread is my flesh..and this wine is my blood?

As to the fish..it was symbolic..it was to be the Christian symbol..thats why fish was given to the crowd

Christ..his teachings were given to the crowd

before the cross the symbol of Christians..in Rome etc..was the fish

he also helped Peter to fish..because that was Christ..He didnt impose..he taught

BUT at the same time he said..He would make Ptere Fisher of men

He multiplied it to show that so too it would be multiplied and spread...His Word..His tecahings..and Himselfthrough allthis

toa hungry crowd..

the hunger of hopeand faith

he would provide the food forthe spirit

and multiply it

so fromthe hand full of apostles..

his Word and teachings too was multiplied

like the fish and the bread

and more and more were able to find sustenance fromsharing the good news..the food of the spirit His Word

This is completely false.

There was a story in the news recently about a pair of vegan parents (those that only eat the herbs as stated by the bible, apparently), and their new born baby died because it was nutritionally deficient. You should take a moment to research it.

I don't know where primitive man fits into your fantasy but our bodies are naturally predisposed to eat and rely on meat. Why do you think we have canine teeth? It's for tearing through flesh. There are countless amino acids in meat which can only be derived from eating meat, and that cannot be supplemented through herbs or vegetables. Stuff our bodies need to grow and survive and maintain organ function.

If you study mysticism and ancient philosophy/history you will learn a great deal about animals and their purpose on this planet. Animals offer themselves to us as nourishment in our quest to reach enlightenment. There is nothing wrong with eating meat at all. If there is, why do you think animals eat other animals? Are animals natural sinners in your view?

And how can you possibly say "so what" to the reality that Christ ate and used meat to feed the people? So Christ was exempt to sin because he was christ? you make no sense at all. How can you judge someone for doing exactly as christ did, and that is eating fish? lol. You make zero sense.
 Quoting: PigsInSpace

dude, its right in genesis.

people were meant to just eat the herbs of the land.

I dont have to comment any further, just read genesis prior to noah.

I never condoned jesus eating fish.
 Quoting: HollywoodDazzler1

lmao!

Who the f*ck are you to condone what Christ does or doesn't do?

The ego on you. Sheesh.

I guess when you die you are going to reprimand Christ for eating Sushi in front of God right?

You're delusional. I'm done here.
 Quoting: PigsInSpace

When I die, i will sit with Jesus and tell him he shouldnt of ate meat when he did but he did it because it would of been too radical for the people to give up their lustful desires, jesus cared more about the kingdom of god then things like that

BUT, since he said, i will send the helper

If you are in tune with his helper, you wouldnt eat meat.

fact

walk with christ? or so you say...

compassion is key to walking in hand with the holy spirit.

Know the real holy spirit? - you would never eat meat.

how is eating dead animals showing compassion to our animal brothers and sisters? the same compassion the man called jesus taught...

and for those who pull our that bible scripture it isn't what goes in it is what comes out... that passage refers to much deeper things than FOOD.

Apparently you too have never read the bible. God says that any animals with a split hoof and anything in the ocean with scales and fins are ok to eat. God says its ok your argument is NOT VALID

After the flood he gave noah permission to eat meat.

Use logic.

Before the Flood, when people were vegeterians, they lived 800+ years, after the flood, when they began to eat meat, abraham was about 175.

No its not juding. Its fact.

If your in commune with THE holy spirit.. you would battle your flesh to not eat meat..you might not always win, but eventually you overcome the lust for flesh and eat in balance with the universe and how God originally intended it to be. He created us all in the beginning, and in the beginning we did not eat meat.

There are some who think that the word may have been "fishweed" rather than fish.....

Most who don't believe Messiah ate fish agree that the word "fish" was added by the translators.

A good reason to show this is when we have the telling of the two miracles of feeding the crowds loaves of bread and fishes, when Messiah later recounts the events, He does not mention fish, but only bread.

you are right, we should be eating them while they are still alive as we do with plants .. much more compassionate.

There was a university study about that btw.

Two plants in a room, one plant gets ripped to shreds by one person.

students needed to then walk around the other plant and guess when the plant showed signs of stress (yes, plants are subject to stress and the stresslevel can even be monitored)
ONLY when the killer of that other plant walked by

remember that while you feel morally superior, next time you are putting a knife and fork in a raw tomato

Re: A true christian would never eat meat....

walk with christ? or so you say...

compassion is key to walking in hand with the holy spirit.

Know the real holy spirit? - you would never eat meat.

how is eating dead animals showing compassion
to our animal brothers and sisters? the same compassion the man called jesus taught...

and for those who pull our that bible scripture it isn't what goes in it is what comes out... that passage refers to much deeper things than FOOD.

you are right, we should be eating them while they are still alive as we do with plants .. much more compassionate.

You are speaking more of projected energy, rather than a central nervous system when making this comparison.

I have yet to see a tomato with a nervous system that is similar to a sentient being's.

You aren't very clever are you?

Dead animals are no longer sentient.
I have flaws, I was just as surprised as you when I found out!
