I hear what you're saying, though I disagree somewhat. I really prefer being alone. I'm not interested in being "part of the crowd" or "accepted" by anyone. I have a small circle of friends and family that I'm close to but that's how I like it. Interacting with lots and lots of people simply tires me out and is not that appealing. If people perceive me as being X, Y or Z I really don't give a shit; call me names I could care less. My original post was just an observation.

SOMEHOW, being gay has not only been put on public display, but much of it is led by those intentionally antagonistic and destructive to it's host culture.
