Why The Govít Purchase Of Ammunition Should Scare The Hell Out Of You
James Smith, Contributor
Activist Post

Recent articles have been published, by this network and others, that detail the extraordinarily large purchases of ammunition by the United States Government. This ammunition has been of varying calibers, mainly .357 Sig and .40 S&W. However, they all have been what are known as ďHollow PointĒ rounds.

I noticed that some of the 223 was match grade.....

If u look at the laws passed and EO's signed. Like NDAA and thousands of bullet proof guard shacks and all the rest of it. They're gearing up for a fight. So, plan accordingly......

Police forces need ammo. The DHS has a police element and needs ammo. Purchases for that are no concern. Even simple monthly training/practice will burn through a lot of ammo.

BUT

The IRS, NOAA, and the Social Security Administration do not have a police element and do not need massive ammounts of the most expensive and damaging amunition made.

This is serious. If this doesn't get your attention, nothing will.

In an earlier buy I noticed the Dept. of Agriculture bot something like 26,000 hollow points. They don't practice with that type of ammo.

At the range awhile back, the guy next to me was DHS. His weapon of choice was the AK-47 and he was using cheap Russian steel case. His target was a full size silouette that I'm sure he got from work. He told me that they could use their personal weapons while on duty.....

If that were the case it would be even more serious because hollow point ammo is illegal for the military to use. I think it would be more likelythat this is all for federal civilian use. Obama did say he wanted his own private amry that was just as well equiped and just as well funded as the military. Looks like he is getting it by executive order.

I didn't say it made any sense. It's a Geneva convention thing. Apparantly inflicting more damage with a bullet less than half an inch in diameter is frowned upon, but hitting a bad guy with a cruise missle is A-OK.

Serious missuse of taxpayers money...where are the whistle blowers in the SS department??? When the Maoists executed prisoners they asked the families to pay for the bullets NOT the tax paying citizens....criminals!! These funds should FIRST ones sequestered at the end of the budget.

Maybe the departments who are ordering the ammo are not the ones who are going to use it. Could this be a form of "ammo laundering?" The recipients of the fast and furious deal are probably running low.

fyi....there are ammo stores online selling the new "barrier blind" ammo in 762nato and 556. i think that would negate the bullet resistant gaurd shacks. buy it cheap, stock it deep. a storm IS coming.

the most expensive and damaging amunition made.
 Quoting: Resister

I just have to comment that HP ammo, especially pistol ammo (such as the .357 sig and .40 s/w ammo) is only marginally more expensive than non-HP ball ammo (like maybe a difference between $25 and $28 per 25 round box, probably much less for bulk purchases), and in some cases is actually less expensive (check out cheaperthandirt dot com and look at some prices yourself if you do not believe me). To me it would make sense if a police or security were buying ammo in bulk, that they would simply buy the same ammo that they would use while on duty as they use in practice so simplify things. There is also the factor that the ballistics of HP ammo and ball ammo are slightly different, and thus they shoot different, so practicing with ball, then putting your life on the line with ammo you have not practiced with that may very well act differently is not exactly a good idea.

All of that aside, I do not fully understand why those non DHS entities are ordering ammo, that does definitely seem a little fishy to me. I just wanted to clear up the misconception that one would not practice with HP ammo, or that it is more expensive.
It is, to me, sad how fast people forget the FOUNDATIONS of our fine country! This country was built by an armed population capable of fending for themselves, and will be lost by couches full of potato-sheeple riding their 52" HD-LEDTV's into the orwellian sunset. :(

i totally agree with you and why all the ammo they are buying is HP, logistically storing 2 types of ammo is problematic.

as for why they all want so much, its because of this, something wicked this way comes.....
