Re: Why The Gov’t Purchase Of Ammunition Should Scare The Hell Out Of You
One of the mods here deleted my comment on another thread. Hits too close to home.

You see the govt tipped their hand at the card table.

We know the total volume to date 1.6 billion.

Currently the totals per person in all agencies are around 5,000 rounds per user. Its 7 times more than needed to kill every man woman and child.

Sooo....rule out the impossible and all thats left is the possible.

That leaves two possibilities.

1. They expect a foreign land invasion. This quantity (1.6 billion rounds) would be enough to defend govt facilities......IF.... the American people stood up and backed them.

OR:

2. They have convincing data that tells them trade in materials and/or the ability to manufacture ammo will be gone for a period up to 10 years. This allows training ammo of the same variety as duty ammo.

Either way the whole country is screwed. So my suggestion is to throw away the fear mongering. Prepare yourself to either join and repel an invasion of our very home, or prepare to assist in maintaining law and order due to some decade long natural disaster.

peace

Police forces need ammo. The DHS has a police element and needs ammo. Purchases for that are no concern. Even simple monthly training/practice will burn through a lot of ammo.

BUT

The IRS, NOAA, and the Social Security Administration do not have a police element and do not need massive ammounts of the most expensive and damaging amunition made.

This is serious. If this doesn't get your attention, nothing will.

please try to get the unseeing and unknowing to watch this.

the point we need to see and know is our government is not a 2 party except as a cheap PR trick.

banks get caught red handed in thefts of BILLIONS and publicly get off...the laws say they can.
if you or i were to bounce a $500 dollar check and do not make good, where will be sitting soon?

when did it become normal for our police force to hide their faces behind masks and helmets.

when did it become normal for convention delegates to by denied the right to vote to represent their voters choice.

when did it become normal for check points to be popping up around transportation hubs.....or check points anywhere in the US.

when did it become normal for the government to give billions to a select few companies when they screw up their businesses?

when did it become normal for our army to train out in the public...on our streets, open and in view?

when did it become normal for our government to fly machines armed or not over our heads, looking down and tracking our moves?

WAKE UP

this has nothing to do with PAUL, or ROMNEY, OR even OBAMA!

Tell that to the multitude of police departments around this country that use HP ammo... You practice with what you shoot, this is standard procedure. The fact that the ammo is HP is not the concern, where the concern lies in WHO is buying the ammo.

It is, to me, sad how fast people forget the FOUNDATIONS of our fine country! This country was built by an armed population capable of fending for themselves, and will be lost by couches full of potato-sheeple riding their 52" HD-LEDTV's into the orwellian sunset. :(

doomtard.....if your going to store ammo for a 10 year long disaster, emp or otherwise.....why the hell would you store practice ammo?

Anyone who knows squat about firearms knows you practice with the exact same round that you use. ask that question at warriortalk and see what they say....go ahead.

But ok lets take your path of fucktardery for a min.

What do you think they will use the other 1.4 billion rounds for when everyone is dead?

Wo the fuck will be paying their paychecks when the taxpayers are gone? They gonna work for free?

So you see you have no arguement.

In an earlier buy I noticed the Dept. of Agriculture bot something like 26,000 hollow points. They don't practice with that type of ammo.

At the range awhile back, the guy next to me was DHS. His weapon of choice was the AK-47 and he was using cheap Russian steel case. His target was a full size silouette that I'm sure he got from work. He told me that they could use their personal weapons while on duty.....

its gotta be the money from their dept budget the mils using i.e. using their procurement
 Quoting: Phennommennonn

If that were the case it would be even more serious because hollow point ammo is illegal for the military to use. I think it would be more likelythat this is all for federal civilian use. Obama did say he wanted his own private amry that was just as well equiped and just as well funded as the military. Looks like he is getting it by executive order.
 Quoting: Resister

How can hollow point ammo be illegal when they use depleted uranium?
 Quoting: The Gallows

Good question.

From Wiki...

The Hague Convention of 1899, Declaration III, prohibited the use in international warfare of bullets that easily expand or flatten in the body.[3] This is often incorrectly believed to be prohibited in the Geneva Conventions, but it significantly predates those conventions, and is in fact a continuance of the St. Petersburg Declaration of 1868, which banned exploding projectiles of less than 400 grams, as well as weapons designed to aggravate injured soldiers or make their death inevitable. NATO members do not use small arms ammunition that is prohibited by the Hague Convention.

750 million rounds of .223 they bought.
600 million rounds of .40 they bought.

There are 350 million peeps in the nation.

So that's about 2 round per person of each type. I guess they plan on a double tap and immediate success.

So, my fix:

I suspect no more than, say, 20 perps showing up at once.

I've got about 7500 rounds here -- 20 perps... that's 375 rounds per perp. That should pretty much do it, I suspect.

I'd think by the 300th round that I should have found a faceshot, don't you think?

Nobody in Syria can afford a sig .357. That is a great round, and very good for personel defense, but not cheap. I han't seen a sig .357 pistol that wasn't quite expensive, and the rounds are also pretty pricey. I Syria, most fighters carry AK-47s because they are cheap and reliable. If you want to shoot a gun that works every time, even without maintenance, you just can't beat the old "spray and pray" AK.

These government purchases of HP ammo are obviously intended for us. The military can't use it because of the Geneva accords. That means it will stay right here where they can use it. Barry is gearing up for some civil unrest. He believes that the people he's been fucking for the last four years might turn violent. He could be right. He might also find it difficult to get enforcement officers to shoot Americans on American soil.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
