the most expensive and damaging amunition made.

I just have to comment that HP ammo, especially pistol ammo (such as the .357 sig and .40 s/w ammo) is only marginally more expensive than non-HP ball ammo (like maybe a difference between $25 and $28 per 25 round box, probably much less for bulk purchases), and in some cases is actually less expensive (check out cheaperthandirt dot com and look at some prices yourself if you do not believe me). To me it would make sense if a police or security were buying ammo in bulk, that they would simply buy the same ammo that they would use while on duty as they use in practice so simplify things. There is also the factor that the ballistics of HP ammo and ball ammo are slightly different, and thus they shoot different, so practicing with ball, then putting your life on the line with ammo you have not practiced with that may very well act differently is not exactly a good idea.

All of that aside, I do not fully understand why those non DHS entities are ordering ammo, that does definitely seem a little fishy to me. I just wanted to clear up the misconception that one would not practice with HP ammo, or that it is more expensive.

i totally agree with you and why all the ammo they are buying is HP, logistically storing 2 types of ammo is problematic.

as for why they all want so much, its because of this, something wicked this way comes.....
