COMPARISON OF LEVIATHAN TO SATAN/ANTICHRIST

I was challenged to do this study when reading The Antichrist, by Arthur Pink.
It’s interesting that when you read through this section, you get the picture of a
fire-breathing dragon. Satan is described in scripture as a dragon.
Rev. 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the
Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into
the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev. 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the
Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years…
Other verses make a direct connection with Antichrist and Satan.
Rev. 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up
out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten
crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
Rev. 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet
were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the
dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
The beast in verse 1 is a reference to Antichrist, and the dragon that gives him his
power is Satan. These verses also make a direct connection to a verse in Isaiah.
Is. 27:1 In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword
shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked
serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
All that being said, it makes the description of leviathan quite vivid as being
descriptive of Antichrist when he is indwelt by Satan at the start of the great
tribulation, the last 3.5 years of the tribulation period.
Job 41:1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord
which thou lettest down?
Job 41:2 Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a
thorn?
He can’t be caught or controlled.
Job 41:3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words
unto thee?
He is proud and arrogant.
Job 41:4 Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant
for ever?
He is not trustworthy nor is he concerned with helping others.
Job 41:5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy
maidens?
He rejects discipline; he cannot be tamed.
Job 41:6 Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him
among the merchants?
He cannot be manipulated by others.Job 41:7 Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish
spears?
Job 41:8 Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.
Job 41:9 Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at
the sight of him?
He will act without mercy toward his enemies.
Job 41:10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand
before me?
He cannot be intimidated.
Job 41:11 Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is
under the whole heaven is mine.
Job 41:12 I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.
His power and authority come through God’s permission and is limited
according to God’s purposes.
Job 41:13 Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him
with his double bridle?
Job 41:14 Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round
about.
Job 41:15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
Job 41:16 One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
Job 41:17 They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot
be sundered.
He acts with impunity during the time allotted him according to God’s
purposes.
Job 41:18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of
the morning.
Job 41:19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.
Job 41:20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.
Job 41:21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
His eyes and his words are penetrating and cause great fear to his
enemies. His attitude is marked with simmering anger.
Job 41:22 In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before
him.
He is brash and bold in his sense of power. He relishes in the sorrow of
his enemies.
Job 41:23 The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in
themselves; they cannot be moved.
Job 41:24 His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether
millstone.
He is unfeeling and merciless.
Job 41:25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of
breakings they purify themselves. He inspires fear in even the mightiest of men.
Job 41:26 The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart,
nor the habergeon.
Job 41:27 He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood.
Job 41:28 The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him
into stubble.
Job 41:29 Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.
Job 41:30 Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon
the mire.
He fears nothing because nothing that man can do to him can harm him.
Job 41:31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of
ointment.
Job 41:32 He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be
hoary.
He causes great turmoil wherever he goes. His presence always leaves it
mark.
Job 41:33 Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.
Job 41:34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of
pride.
He is full of pride to the point that he has no comparison on earth.

INDEED. WELCOME BABY LEVIATHAN !

********THE FIRST MOUNTAIN OF INITIATION. ***********

(From Gnostic Author).

The first day of Jonah within the great fish (Leviathan-Lucifer) is the First Mountain of Initiation, Alchemical Birth. The second day is the Second Mountain, Mystical Death, at the end of which is Resurrection. The third day within the great fish (Leviathan-Lucifer) is the Third Mountain, Sacrifice. Thus, after three days Jonah is a resurrected Master. He lives in harmony with the Great Law and is ready to do the work of his Father as an awakened avatar of the Christ. He is “vomited” upon dry land, because he is no longer permitted to work within the waters of Alchemy. The proper use of the sexual force that was utilized to create the Twice Born is now prohibited to him. The work of the seven days of creation of the true Human Being is complete and the sex belongs to the Monad now.

Remember the Saviors of countless traditions who were cast into the waters as infants: Moses, Perseus, Karttikeya, Romulus and Remus, Maui, etc. Nor should it be forgotten the many Saviors born from stone (the philosophic stone/liquid stone of Mercury = the waters of Yesod): the Persian Mithras, the Babylonian Enkidu, the Chinese Qi, the earliest Norse Gods, etc. The Apache Savior is even named “Child-of–the Water” as a direct reference to the means of his (Alchemical) birth. It is within the waters (of Yesod) that the real Human Being is born.
