There is a difference between spirituality and religion.
If you religious people could just change your language a bit, and stop incessantly using Jesus or God, then more people would be open to what you have to say.
Use more of the language of meta-physics, or quantum physics, to explain what you mean.
Eg: if you meditate long enough, you will enter the quantum field of all possibility. We are mostly space and only a small percentage of matter. That space is made up of potential. This potential matter is profoundly influenced by thought (electricity) and emotion (magnetism). When we visualize the reality that we want to have happen, we send out an electromagnetic charge (clear picture-thought accompanied by a deep, heart felt emotion of gratitude for example). That has an impact upon the field. The more you send those electromagnetic impulses out into the field, the more that you pull that 'reality' back towards you.

There is definitely a spiritual battle, but we wage it here on earth. This means that we have some application that we can use in our daily life. Not being vengeful isn't about being a victim, but about being at peace, and knowing that God will punish those who do us wrong. Also, recognizing that evil is on this earth and is out to get us lets us know what we are up against. We have to always hold on to the anchor that at we have tested to be truth, so that when the wind picks up we can withstand the evil one. I think it is hard to find the anchor once the storm begins, so that is why we must find it and hold on. It doesn't mean we blindly hold on either. So many good people can be deceived and Jesus teaches humility so that we may not also be those good people who are deceived by evil. Humility means that we will subject ourselves to the truth, no matter how painful and be willing to let go of our stubbornness despite shame and difficulty. God will provide fellowship and encouragement if you ask for it.
I pray for truth. I will pray for strength for anyone who faces this monster, they should know they are not alone in facing evil, it comes in all forms.
We all face our own monsters of the evil one's lies. When I feel alone is when
I turn to God for strength. He has moved mountains in my life and not because of anything I did.
Life is a struggle of truth and lies. Truth always wins.
