In science, when research is presented at conference presentations, you do not attack the presenter if they do not yet have their PhD simply because they're a student, even if their findings are controversial. You address the substance of their material, their methods, or you shut the hell up. You have chosen to engage in appeals to authority and relentlessly fallacious logic, even though professional astronomers agree with me that Harrington was wrong.

Write Dr. Matese or Dr. Whitmire an email and ask them if Harrington's hypothetical planet is real or not. Ask them if Dr. Standish was right. Matese and Whitmire have their own hypothetical planet they think is somewhere out near the Oort cloud, Tyche, but even they would admit that Harrington's Planet X hypothesis was simply wrong.

In fact the posters who have cited Harrington have themselves made claims that directly contradict Harrington's own research. They do so without so much as a shred of supporting evidence or even an acknowledgement that they're contradicting the person whose authority they're appealing to! Not only is it fallacious, it's self-contradictory!

Surgery is not a science? Medicine is not science? When did you complete your residency? Or do you not have a past reference for what medical science is and are therefore talking out your ass about a subject matter whereof you are wholly ignorant?

And to whose authority do you now appeal in order to make these statements? In medical conferences, students do not attend BECAUSE they are students. Students usually know innately to shut the hell up from the start in view of the professional's experience and understanding of that which they wish to LEARN, FROM THE PROFESSIONAL. Presented above is a poster who accuses another poster of appeal to authority; yet in the second component of the SAME STATEMENT she appeals to the authority of professionals to bolster HER argument!!

It would be utterly tragic to see this emanate from the mind of a purported PhD if not for the comedic aspect of it all.

The problem with names such as nibiru, planet x etc has taken such a divert tangent seeming ridiculous new age stuff easily debunk or ridiculed, it will require page after page of infallible non detabable proof that it exists, it is out there, even for those that will still argue well, if it really exists why NASA has not announced it? This gets discussed at least once a week on GLP and the answer never changes. The IRAS data is mostly from an 1983 IRAS sky survey and is 30 years old and wasn't complete. It is slowly getting replaced with WISE IRAS sky data that is 2-4 years old.

The data will probably get updated again in another 20 years.

If you are using a virtual telescope IRAS setting and Nibiru entered the solar system less than 3 years ago you will very likely be using it as a tombstone for 15 years before you can see it coming in a virtual telescope program.

This is actually pretty good. Most of the visible light data for the virtual telescopes is from sky surveys POSS1 and POSS2 which were performed over 1/2 century ago.

And besides, "infrared only" objects don't exist. If Nibiru is Jupiter sized or larger it's albedo (brightness) would be higher than earth's which is about 0.3.

id imagine if he included images from every year his perfect 'perturbance' images wouldnt work anymore. hence the jumping from 2000 to 2007, then 2012.

I differ from Turkey AC statemnet about brightness, majority of research(renowned astrophysicists)have determined celestial planet ( X Nibiru etc whatever you might want to call it) as a brown dwarf emiting only a dull light within narrow range so what you are saying is not feasible, if I undestood your post correctly.
