It always has been, and according to countries it still is. Any country which needs to buy a product (such as oil) from another company can offer gold at any time, and the country receiving it WILL ACCEPT IT. Gold to anyone who is not a kept slave like the average members of the public, is and always will be money. SILVER, has thousands of uses including being irreplaceable in nearly all high end electronic devices. It's the most electrically conductive metal, surpassing copper, and cannot be replaced in modern high-end electronics. Not to mention, because of the rapid expansion in uses of silver over the past century, silver stockpiles have dwindled to less than 10% of what they were just 60 years ago. So unless we have a complete end of humanity, both metals just like they have for thousands of years, will remain valuable, and silver especially considering its industrial applications. |
