CNN: Romney refuses to release tax returns!.. what does that tell you

It tells me, he is REQUIRED to release them and why should he? Everyone else, post all your tax returns and maybe he will. WTF, who cares about tax returns.

It doesn't prove jack. If he did anything illegal with his taxes, the IRS would be all over his ass about it, regardless of public disclosure or not.

They want his taxes in the news so that the media can distract people with his income numbers and how unfair it is, while Obama firmly plants his rod up our asses.

This simply exemplifies that there is in fact something to hide and something obviously big enough that would prove a complete contradiction to his platforms etc..

If your going to pic a president.. might as well have full disclose of who your voting for.. Not saying that Obama is any better, just saying that Romney needs to rise above this secrecy to exemplify his position of being one for the country and people he is hoping to gain favor with.

When did releasing tax returns become a requirement to be POTUS. I looked in my copy of the US Constitution and couldn't find it anywhere. Can anyone help me out here?

It shows he's not stupid and didn't fall for Obama's setup. Why doesn't Obama take the lead and offer to disclose all his private records first in exchange for Romney releasing his tax returns - you know the real long form B.C., his passport records, his selective service records, his social security card application, his college transcripts and financial aid forms, his Illinois Senate records, his law school academic records, his attorney client list, etc. etc. all for which is has spent millions in attorney's fees to keep out of court....that is the question EVERYONE should be asking - hey Obama why are you refusing to release your records?

My question is, why when our country is facing the most dire financial situation in history, do the democrats only care about seeing Romneys taxes? Why is that soooooo important?
