As I mentioned on the other thread, I think there's a little more to this story than Raub's patriotic position, or some anti-government posts on Facebook. From what I understand, he was talking about open revolution, that he was going to be the leader, and his guns were "bigger than a baby's arm."

Not sure if he actually threatened anyone, but he did not sound overly stable from what I've been able to piece together reviewing other forums talking about this.

I didn't read the whole thread, but from the snippit I did read above which someone graciously posted from his comments elsewhere, it appears he was outright asking for someone, ANYONE to "come pick him up" on the spot

as he was heading out (according to him) to start "the Revolution"

ummm, I mean come on... who does that?

you'd think they'd train them better than that in basic

what was he gonna do, just go off willy nilly and start shooting??? and what in the hell good would that do anyone anyway, under any circumstance?

the whole thing makes little if any sense to me other than his piss poor attitude with regard to our liberties being annihilated right and left with wild abandon, which is a common consensus at this point, regardless.

it just doesn't add up to "logical" anymore so than does that pic of him masquerading as the aurora shooter with that same vacant smile on his face

how can anyone that is that distraught over "what he knows" and/or "has seen" in the world look so damn cavalier and happy go lucky in spite of such, which is what his photo projects in spades.

Well that's weird! A few hours ago he had tons of notes on his facebook page and now they're gone.

well I kind of agree, but when you befriend a man, train him to defend his own country, hand him a gun and he immediately shoots two American soldiers who were helping him, I think blaming the military for being screwed up is a stretch. Being immersed in the cutthroat Arab culture is mind altering in itself, as evidenced as far back as T.E. Lawrence.

of course the first amendment is about rap music and the right to obsenity in front of children and christians and not at all about muttering that your rulers have gone rouge, stolen your money, indebted you and need to be put out, it's not as if they are YOUR employees, right?

He sounds like he's got a problem. But so did Hassan at Fort Hood, and the FBI knew it and purposely let him walk around free because he's muslim. And what about the Black Panthers talking about skinning babies? They too are free to walk around.

They are clearly trying to bully vocal rebels into silence, buy I really hope it ends up as a rallying call for those who aren't blind and aren't pleased to stand up and get even louder!

His words show extreme mental fatigue, lack of critical thinking and an irrational bias towards anarchy. More or less parroting what has become his personal world ethos.

In scope of the police state situation, it all has become to me, like an abusive relationship. The female is afraid to leave and the man just can't stop beating her.

End result?

Society cranks out killers and such.

Clearly, he was speaking metaphorically. His posts read like poetry. But, also clearly, this is beyond those with a goon mentality. Education has been wasted on the masses.

Look, I feel sorry for the guy. He's a retired Marine and who knows what atrocities he has witnessed and experienced. Not to mention how many times he's come within a whisker of death. there is enough evidence out there to suggest that many returned servicemen experience post traumatic stress syndrome among other mental health issues.

I think he is right to feel disgruntled, let down and angry with his government however his comments sound more irrational than poetic (which has been suggested on other posts).

Let's not forget that this guy has been trained to be a professional killer and any signs of mental health issues, however small needs to be taken into serious consideration.

Also, in my uneducated opinion, I don't think the US government does nearly enough to look after their vets. Your government is sitting on a time bomb and should take much better care of their returned servicemen and women.

It's obvious why they took him to a mental hospital.

It's the way they discredit this demographic, so people think you are all nutcase and other are more likely to scoff and not agree with your point of view. Particularly in light of the 'Occupy Wallstreet Movelment'. They don't want the general populace to be sympathetic to this point of view.

They do this with ALL groups who are against the PTB.

It's just another play to manipulate the sheeple.
