After the buildings were demolished by well placed charges.................this to my recollection justified an invasion of Iraq soon thereafter........and the creation of the Dept. of Homeland Security.
Please correct me if I am wrong on this. My memory is not so great.
The explosions marked the end of the age of innocence......and the beginning of the security state for the USA.
